This warm and inviting home away from home takes you to a state of complete relaxation with its open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, and beautiful lake view to enjoy the impressive sunsets. The expansive deck is ideal for those fun family barbecues. A large stone fireplace in the Great Room with cathedral ceilings will warm you on those cold winter nights. This wooded lot is only a few doors away from a community marina, and a short walk to the beach, playground, picnic area, and boat launch.
Big Bass Lake is a secure upscale gated four-season vacation community that has so much to offer.
Summers at Big Bass Lake are warm during the day so that you can enjoy our clean, sandy beaches, life-guarded swimming pool, and other outdoor activities such as sailing, fishing, canoeing and paddle boating. Cool summer nights are a welcome relief from the heat of the big city.
During the fall, you can enjoy the colorful palette of leaves (mid-September to mid-October), hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting.
Winter outdoor enthusiasts will be sure to be entertained with skiing, snow boarding, tubing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and ice skating. We’ll provide the snow.
For our fair weather guests, our winter center features a heated indoor pool, sauna, game room and snack bar, with a view of our own ski and tubing hill.
Our recreation staff always has big plans with daily supervised activities for children and families. Big Bass Lake is just 20 minutes from many major Pocono Mountain attractions: Pocono Speedway, four major ski resorts, minor league baseball, Steamtown USA, the Crossings Factory Shopping Outlets.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT allow pets or smoking inside our home. Violation of our NO SMOKING/PET Policy will result in a forfeit of security deposit. A maximum of seven persons overnight is the limit for this property. Anyone who violates the occupancy limit will forfeit the security deposit, and may have to vacate the premises. RENTERS MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
Weekly rentals run from Saturday 4pm to following Saturday 11am. Weekend rentals run from Friday to Sunday (two nights), usually with flexible check-in and check-out times. Additional days can be arranged when available.
HOLIDAY WEEKENDS: ADD 15% TO POSTED RATES FOR NEW YEAR’S, MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, PRESIDENTS’ DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, LABOR DAY, COLUMBUS DAY, THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS WEEKENDS. Mid-week rentals maybe available; call and ask.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is very inviting, well maintained, very clean, and has a lovely view of the lake. The beds and furniture were comfortable which helped to make for a very relaxing weekend. We would definitely rent this property again. It's a real find!

We have stayed twice and the place is perfect. A romantic night in front of the fire is perfect after a day hitting the slopes or ice skating. It is close to ski areas and close to state parks for hiking and ice skating. the air hockey and foosball are great and the kitchen is equipped to make a delightful dinner. The beds and furniture are comfortable. Deer and wildlife are frequent visitors to the back yard.

A perfect house for a family getaway. Everything was clean and in order. Very cozy. Enjoyed playing board games in front of a roaring fire (but cable TV/DVD/VCR was nice too). We took full advantage of the kitchen. Not too far from skiing, skating, etc. The local roads were great for a morning jog with very rustic surroundings. Overall, it was everything we expected and more.
