Inside The Old City Walls, right in the Center of the Historic French Site: Ancestral and Charming Apartment - 3 Bedrooms - 1 Baths - Large splendid Terrace and View - (Sleeps 6 to 8).

From the large terrace (8 x 12 ft.), nicely furnished with french style tables and chairs, perfect for a 'croissant' in the morning or a drink at evenings!), you benefit from the nicest possible view on the Old Town (Porch, Chapel and Museum of the Ursulines), and even of the Quebec Prime Minister's apartement!

You are right in the Center of the Historic City, surrounded by the Convent of the Ursulines, the Chapel, the famous Museum and the Château Frontenac.

You find just 2 doors away a little grocery store (called in French « Dépanneur »), the only one available in the Upper Town; and 4 doors away, the world famous and antic restaurant « Aux Anciens Canadiens », called after the first novel or so of the French Colony, « Les Anciens Canadiens » by Philippe-Aubert de Gaspé.

The condo is exceptionnaly sunny, with views on 3 sides, with direct access from the kitchen to the terrace through a typical french door.

There is 3 magnificent bedrooms (2 with double-bed, 1 with Queen-bed)offering a typical view on the Holy Trinity Church and the Musée des Ursulines.

* A full and modern bathroom with antic bath, shower, stoned wall, washing and drying machines.

Once in the condo, you won't need your car the rest of your stay (unless to go outside the town): you can do everything walking and enjoying the sights.

THE SUMMER SEASON

The summer months are a wonderfully mild season in this magical city with special events daily including New France historical celebrations just down the hill and the Changing of the Guard just up the hill in La Citadelle. Throughout the summer, the Old City overflows with window boxes and hanging flower baskets.

WINTER FUN
It's also never too early to consider a winter fun and ski get-away. This condominium home is an ideal balance between close-by world class ski destinations like Mount St. Anne, Stoneham, the Massif, and great in-town night life ...for a truly French/European Christmas season, reserve this special home in December and have a magical holiday.

Or join in Québec's famous Winter Carnival festivities (February); the biggest winter carnival in the world. Most events are right in the neighborhood.

THE 'OFF' SEASONS
If art collecting, antiquing, or a quiet romantic get-away's the goal, consider booking a stay during our off seasons. The crowds are gone and the locals 'retake' the cafes as Old Québec slows down to a pace that matches the changing seasons. It's a great way to sample the town's timeless European tempo.

I booked this apartment for my wife, myself and 2 adult children over the 2012 Christmas period after finding it on line. I had much communication with the owner prior to our arrival, who replied promptly and answered all my queries. In fact, the owner could not do more to make sure our stay was a memorable one. The listing of the apartment is a very accurate description of how it is, as are the photos. It was very clean upon arrival and had been well maintained. It was decked out with all the necessities and was perfect for our holiday. It's position is perfect to everything, in fact I don't think you could get a better position. It is handy to shops, restaurants, pubs, tourist sites and public transport. Everything is within easy walking distance and is perfect for exploring the Old Town. There is even a mini supermarket 2 doors up. It is situated on the 3rd level and is one block behind the Chateau Frontenac in the Old Town of Quebec. We got snowed in for 2 days, causing us to reschedule flights, however, the owner was extremely helpful and made the apartment available to us, which was so comforting for us, having not to find other accommodation. I would have no hesitation in staying in this apartment again and highly recommend it.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have visited Quebec City half a dozen times in my life, but in the past stayed in the outlying areas. This time we wanted a place right in Old Quebec. This place is in the perfect location: it is both close to everything, but - unlike some other places we considered - is on a quiet side street. You are 2 to 4 blocks from most things, and about the farthest we needed to walk for anything was about 10 minutes. The apartment is quiet and comfortable, and the listing information shown here on the site is accurate. The exterior deck is a real bonus, and has a nice view of the nearby school/museum/convent. The owners were very accessible and helpful. As some of the other reviews mention, the only negative about this apartment is that the stairway (there is no elevator) is steep and narrow, and so would be challenging for those with mobility problems. When you visit, I recommend Casse-Crepe Breton for crepes (breakfast or lunch); there is a place at the end of Rue Petit-Champlain that has "sugar on snow" (hot reduced maple syrup poured over snow to make taffy) which the kids loved; the kids also liked taking the short ferry ride across the river to Levis, enjoyed riding the Funiculaire (which takes you from the lower town to upper town in Old Quebec), and walking along the Terrasse Dufferin (a boardwalk on the cliff above the riverfront) particularly at night.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is the perfect apartment from which to explore the old city. Clean, spacious with absolutely everything you need...including a fabulous terrace. Thanks for making it available to us for the weekend. Planning a return trip next year!

We spent 3 nights in June 2011 and we could not be happier. The location is exactly in the center of old Quebec and it is just steps away from all the sites, shops, and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. One of the bedrooms has full over full bunk bed which was perfect for the kids. The living room and kitchen area is spacious and there is everything you may need. The terrace/deck is very nice and you can also see the fireworks from there too which was perfect. The owner is very nice and helpful. We strongly recommend it and we would stay there again on future trips to Quebec. The only thing that may be problem for some is the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so people with disabilities may have a hard time.

This apartment is wonderful. It is large, airy, well-appointed and clean, with a lovely terrace looking over a charming street scene. There is a little grocery store almost next door. The owners are friendly and helpful. You can walk everywhere in the old city.

If you're coming to Quebec City, stay here! Clean, well appointed three bedroom condo two blocks from the Chateau Frontnac. This condo is in the heart of the Old City but off the beaten path to avoid noise and congestion. Walk everywhere! Third floor (no elevator), Wifi (a bit inconsistent), A/C, newer bathroom and quiet. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We have three teenagers with us they love it.
