THE SUMMER SEASON
The summer months are a wonderfully mild season in this magical city with special events daily including New France historical celebrations just down the hill and the Changing of the Guard just up the hill in La Citadelle. Throughout the summer, the Old City overflows with window boxes and hanging flower baskets.
WINTER FUN
It's also never too early to consider a winter fun and ski get-away. This condominium home is an ideal balance between close-by world class ski destinations like Mount St. Anne, Stoneham, the Massif, and great in-town night life ...for a truly French/European Christmas season, reserve this special home in December and have a magical holiday.
Or join in Québec's famous Winter Carnival festivities (February); the biggest winter carnival in the world. Most events are right in the neighborhood.
THE "OFF" SEASONS
If art collecting, antiquing, or a quiet romantic get-away's the goal, consider booking a stay during our off seasons. The crowds are gone and the locals "retake" the cafes as Old Québec slows down to a pace that matches the changing seasons. It's a great way to sample the town's timeless European tempo.

Perfect apartment for exploring Quebec

We spent 3 nights in June 2011 and we could not be happier. The location is exactly in the center of old Quebec and it is just steps away from all the sites, shops, and restaurants. The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. One of the bedrooms has full over full bunk bed which was perfect for the kids. The living room and kitchen area is spacious and there is everything you may need. The terrace/deck is very nice and you can also see the fireworks from there too which was perfect. The owner is very nice and helpful. We strongly recommend it and we would stay there again on future trips to Quebec. The only thing that may be problem for some is the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so people with disabilities may have a hard time.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This apartment is wonderful. It is large, airy, well-appointed and clean, with a lovely terrace looking over a charming street scene. There is a little grocery store almost next door. The owners are friendly and helpful. You can walk everywhere in the old city.

If you're coming to Quebec City, stay here! Clean, well appointed three bedroom condo two blocks from the Chateau Frontnac. This condo is in the heart of the Old City but off the beaten path to avoid noise and congestion. Walk everywhere! Third floor (no elevator), Wifi (a bit inconsistent), A/C, newer bathroom and quiet. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We have three teenagers with us they love it.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.
