This is a modern home built in 2002 with a wrap-around deck that provides the best view on the lake. The master bedroom has a private bath. There is a ping pong table and air hockey table. The house is 2700 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths - sleeps 15 comfortably. Plenty of room for everyone! A mile and a half from Ski Brule down hill ski area. Adjacent to snow mobile trails. Two electric fireplaces, canoe, raft, and a paddle boat are provided. Pets are welcome. There is a Kenmore Elite frontload washer/dryer available in the utility room. Relax after a fun day in the UP in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake. Wireless Internet now available with a computer.
The home is secluded, quiet and has 160 feet of lake frontage on pristine Stanely Lake. The fabulous Ski Brule is 1 1/2 miles away and offers cross-country and down hill skiing as well as horse back riding and canoe rentals. George Young Recreational Area offers championship golf, driving range, indoor pool and is only 15 minutes away. Stanley Lake covers 300 acres and has a water depth of 45 feet. Fish include Muskie, Walleye and Small Mouth Bass and there are NO zebra mussels. There's a public boat launch nearby if you would like to bring your own boat. Great fishing right off the dock. Firewood provided to warm up in the evenings around the campfire overlooking the lake. Roasting sticks also available. Take an adventure to the island with the paddle boat or canoe. If you would like to try out our many rivers nearby or just relax on the lake we have three kayaks for rent. Ping Pong, Air Hockey, and Fooseball Tables. Come and stay at Lake View Lodge, it is truly breathtaking.

We just returned from a fantastic stay at Lake View Lodge over President's Day weekend. The home was perfect for my family. House was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Great Hot Tub and having access to a washer and dryer was key. Plenty of room, great areas to relax and a kitchen large enough to accomodate 10 people for breakfast. Ski Brule is a quick drive from the house and Snipe Lake pub is just a couple of minutes down the road. Access to Iron River is easy for our favorite restaraunts. Cant wait to come back again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

We just returned from our stay at the Lake View Lodge..had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed your home! It accommodated my family very comfortably! We loved waking up to the lake in the morning and enjoying our coffee while watching the eagles fish. The hot tub was great to come back to after a full day of skiing! Our 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter skied for her first time and just loved it! Thank you for providing such a great place to kick back and relax!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

We stayed for 9 days and had a terrific time. The home was roomy, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there was so much to see and do between fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sitting at the campfire, playing ping-pong, enjoying the hot-tub and simply relaxing from the sprawling deck overlooking magnificent Stanley Lake. We actually were able to observe a bald eagle from the comfort of the deck. We have stayed at multiple vacation properties and this has been the best.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

We rented this house in January 2011 for a ski vacation at Ski Brule. The house far exceeded our expectations for the price. It was perfect for what we needed. There is plenty of space to spread out with a nice size and well decorated living room and a rec room in the basement. It was nice to have internet, high efficiency washer/dryer, gas grill, and ping pong. There were toys and movies for the kiddos. The hot tub was great, nothing like sitting in a hot tub looking out over a beautiful lake after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, Crock-pots, utensils and cookware for large groups and there were plenty of towels for showers and the hot tub. I would recommend it for anyone. We will definitely come back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

The house was great. Six of us went to Iron River to the Indoor Archery Sectionals. We enjoyed the comfort, the quiet and the amount of space to relax. Saturday morning we saw 18 deer cross the ice in front of the house. Then we had Bald Eagles flying over the house. And after a great steak dinner on the grill, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Beautiful place. I plan on seeing summer there soon.Owner response: Glad you had a great time!

About the owner: My family has made many memories swimming, fishing, and just relaxing on the deck. In the winter we have a blast ice fishing, cross country skiing, and sledding down the hill. There is nothing that can beat Lake Life Living, especially in the U.P.
