This is a modern home built in 2002 with a wrap-around deck that provides the best view on the lake. The master bedroom has a private bath. There is a ping pong table and air hockey table. The house is 2700 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths - sleeps 15 comfortably. Plenty of room for everyone! A mile and a half from Ski Brule down hill ski area. Adjacent to snow mobile trails. Two electric fireplaces, a 14 foot aluminum row boat, raft, and a paddle boat are provided. Pets are welcome. There is a Kenmore Elite frontload washer/dryer available in the utility room. Relax after a fun day in the UP in the outdoor hot tub overlooking the lake. Wireless Internet now available with a computer.
The home is secluded, quiet and has 160 feet of lake frontage on pristine Stanely Lake. The fabulous Ski Brule is 1 1/2 miles away and offers cross-country and down hill skiing as well as horse back riding and canoe rentals. George Young Recreational Area offers championship golf, driving range, indoor pool and is only 15 minutes away. Stanley Lake covers 300 acres and has a water depth of 45 feet. Fish include Muskie, Walleye and Small Mouth Bass. There's a public boat launch nearby if you would like to bring your own boat. Great fishing right off the dock. Firewood provided to warm up in the evenings around the campfire overlooking the lake. Roasting sticks also available. Take an adventure to the island with the paddle boat or oar boats provided. If you would like to try out our many rivers nearby or just relax on the lake we have two kayaks and a canoe for rent. Come and stay at Lake View Lodge, it is truly breathtaking.

The property is managed and cleaned by the owner.

My family has made many memories swimming, fishing, and just relaxing on the deck. In the winter we have a blast ice fishing, cross country skiing, and sledding down the hill. There is nothing that can beat Lake Life Living, especially in the U.P.
Why the Owner Chose Iron River
We chose to buy this home because of its new construction, large deck with breathtaking views of Stanley Lake, nice large yard, and close to Ski Brule and Iron River.

We rented this house in January 2011 for a ski vacation at Ski Brule. The house far exceeded our expectations for the price. It was perfect for what we needed. There is plenty of space to spread out with a nice size and well decorated living room and a rec room in the basement. It was nice to have internet, high efficiency washer/dryer, gas grill, and ping pong. There were toys and movies for the kiddos. The hot tub was great, nothing like sitting in a hot tub looking out over a beautiful lake after a long day of skiing. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, Crock-pots, utensils and cookware for large groups and there were plenty of towels for showers and the hot tub. I would recommend it for anyone. We will definitely come back.

The house was great. Six of us went to Iron River to the Indoor Archery Sectionals. We enjoyed the comfort, the quiet and the amount of space to relax. Saturday morning we saw 18 deer cross the ice in front of the house. Then we had Bald Eagles flying over the house. And after a great steak dinner on the grill, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Beautiful place. I plan on seeing summer there soon.
