Welcome to our large comfortable luxury waterfront vacation home, located in a residential neighborhood in beautiful Southeast Cape Coral! You’ll find this fabulous paradise is convenient to beaches, boating, shopping, restaurants, and minutes by boat to the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico.
We are located about 30 minutes from the Southwest Florida airport (RSW) and across the river from Fort Myers. This places you minutes away from magnificent Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Fort Myers Beach, and the artist colony at Matlacha. Nearby tourist attractions include the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins Spring training facilities in Fort Myers, and the Sun Splash water park in Cape Coral.
Florida’s famous Disneyworld and Sea World can be reached within 3 hours via Interstates 75 and 4. Close-by shopping conveniences feature a Publix grocery store featuring foods for every taste, Wal-Mart Supercenter and the Del Prado shopping district. Dining at Rumrunners Restaurant and the waterfront restaurants of Fort Myers can be reached by car or boat.
You will love the views from the Master bedroom suite, great room, kitchen and family room, all of which open onto the spacious south-facing heated waterfall pool overlooking the Genoa Canal. The screened lanai area and the pool feature an outdoor shower and an extra bathroom for convenience.
You’ll be certain to enjoy some of the magnificent Florida sunrises and sunsets that can be viewed on the 335 days of sunshine that Cape Coral enjoys. The modern kitchen features a microwave, smooth top cooking stove, and every convenience that you will need for your dining pleasure at your home away from home. Grilling on our outdoor gas grill is steps away on the lanai.
The Villa’s split bedroom plan gives your luxurious private Master suite the added bonus of a sunrise view, a private bathroom with "his and her" sinks, a walk-in closet, and a sliding door to the lanai and pool area. The King size Master bed and hotel-quality linens are new in 2006, as are complementary robes for your use during your stay. The Master Bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Our second guest room has a luxurious Queen size bed and the third guest room has a pair of Twin beds. All linens and beds are new in 2006! All three bedrooms include Cable TV. Should you need additional space, a Queen size sleep sofa may be used in the family room. The guest bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub. The pool area has a half bath and an outdoor shower.
Luxurious Royal Palms and landscaping surround our quality custom home, built in 2001 by local craftsmen. You’ll be certain to appreciate the dock area with its own power and 7,000 lb boat lift, which provide opportunities for fishing and boating throughout the Paradise of Cape Coral.
Only one 11-foot bridge is encountered on the shortest path to the Gulf via the Honolulu Canal, or you can cruise the beautiful Rubicon Canal to Cape Coral’s Gold Coast. Bring your boat, or allow us to help you find a one to make the best of your stay.

We had been visiting Southwest Florida for a couple of years and decided to find a vacation rental. When we saw "Villa Genoa" we fell in love with it!
The Unique Benefits at this Villa with pool and dock
We love the waterfall pool, and the view from the lanai. The size of the Villa is "just right" for our lifestyle. We like the location in Cape Coral and being accessable to the Gulf although we do not yet keep a boat at the Villa. We have met some wonderful people in Cape Coral over the years and can never seem to get enough time when we come to visit!
A nice place to relax by the water, many of our guests like coming here to relax on the beach by the water.
You can find anything "beach-wise" here at Fort Myers Beach! It is usually about 40 minutes each way from "Villa Genoa".

We enjoyed 4 nights at Villa Genoa before tropical storm Fay cut our trip short. The Villa is in great shape, with ongoing improvements at the request of our guests. Wendy brought new "Hotel" brand towels and new sheets for the beds. The lanai deck is being refinished as is the dock area. We upgraded to a nicer gas grill and adapted as much lighting as possible to use the newer "green" elements. Larry and Nadine next door continue to keep the lawn looking great. Our cleaning lady Sue and handyman husband Gabby also are finishing up the "Fall housecleaning" of the house and carpets to be ready for our new and returning guests this upcoming 2008-2009 Season! Thank you again for all your comments and suggestions to make Villa Genoa a great place to vacation!

We were very plased and thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful villa and pool. Our small grandchildren, Mom and Dad & Grandpa are planning to return next year. Our 2 grandsons loved the lizards and the pool and do not want to go home. We have relatives here in Cape Coral and know the area and look forward to a return trip next year.

THis was our 2nd trip this year! We were here in January. THe weather was beautiful and of course the pool and patio we enjoy very much. One of our favorite places to eat is Rumrunners, also we enjoy the Italian Market for lunch and shopping for treats in the store. Hope to return during our winter cold months. We don't like snow.

What a lovely vcation I had here with my son, daughter-in-loaw, and my 3 grandchildren. We had so much fun in the pool and also at the lovely beaches. Oh, and we had so much fun shopping! One good thing about going back to Toronto will be shoing off my tan while wearing my new clothes!

Enjoyed a relaxing vacation in your lovely Villa. Your Villa has all the amenities, the pool, and veranda area were perfrect, quiet and serene. The weather was in the 60's and 70's, not too much sun but only a short rain shower. We missed a snow storm back hom in Pennsylvania, and were thankful to be here.

Everyone had a great time! The house was very nice and the pool. We enjoyed the beaches at Fort Myers and Sanibel Insland. We did some awesome shopping. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Busch Gardens was excellent. We ventured there twice in the two weeks here. The weater was excellent and warm other than a couple of days. All in all, an excellent, relaxing vacation. We will be back!

We spent a little less than a month here in Villa Genoa and loved every minute of it! Great accomodations, spacious, clean and comfortable -- and well organized too. Enjoyed beautiful weather while exploringthe area. We tried both Rum Runners and Chicago Select [owners note--this is now a sports bar] restaurants at least twices. We also enjoyed Hops Grill & Ale House on Highway 41 nearby. All in all, a great holiday!
