Built in 2003, Ocean Cliff offers its discriminating guests deluxe accommodations unsurpassed in the North Beach area.
The three-bedroom upstairs Family Unit sleeps eight and features a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a guest bedroom with two twins, a bunk room and a leather queen sofa bed. Its two decks overlook a breathtaking view of the majestic Pacific Ocean.
The two-bedroom downstairs Cliffside Unit features a patio and direct access to our beautifully landscaped yard overlooking the beach. It sleeps six with a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom and a leather queen sofa bed.
Both units are over 1300 square feet and have gas fireplaces, tile and marble throughout, beautiful fully-equipped kitchens, deluxe bathrooms and spacious master bedrooms with ocean views. Off the main entry is a utility room and mud room with a large shower accessible to both units. Our sunken firepit offers the ideal location for campfires and s'mores, and the one-acre private forest is perfect for exploration.

The house was newer than I had expected and has wonderful amenities! The fire pit was a great group activity and the beach access was much closer than I had pictured. We realized that cell phone access was a bit of a problem, but the people with Verizon seemed to be alright. The house was distinctly split into two levels that worked well as one large group but could have worked equally well as two separate groups. The acreage was not quite as usable as we had originally planned, but with the beach so close, we had all of the room we needed for outdoor activities. Arriving at the property in the dark made it fairly difficult especially since several different GPS systems lead us away from the correct location. However, once found, it was easy to return to. We had a wonderful stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Thanks again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: I am a Presbyterian pastor. Our family discovered this property in 2001 and fell in love with its rugged, wooded beauty and the expansive beach. The sound is mesmerizing. We built our home primarily as our getaway but we 'share' it with what we hope will be a growing list of return guests who find it to be as unique and special as we do. John Wayne once tried to buy this property. If it's good enough for the 'Duke'....you'll love it.
Why the Owner Chose Moclips:
We looked up and down the coast but couldn't find anything that provided the privacy and beauty that matched Moclips. The forest, the elevation, the vast, unspoiled and sparsely populated beaches made this 'our' place.
