Lots of cross-country trails, snow-shoeing, snowmobiling, ice skating, sleigh rides, ice climbing, snowboarding, sledding, tubing, Great Glen trails, and Mount Washington (Tuckerman’s Ravine). Minutes from Storyland and walking distance to outlet shopping and local restaurants. Close to water slides, mini-golf, and about an hour away from The Polar Caves, Santa’s Village, Six Gun City, and Clark’s trading post, where you can see the black bears perform.

In the Summer you will find plenty of lakes and rivers (Saco) nearby for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating and fishing. There is also an abundance of hiking trails and rock-climbing areas. You can mountain-bike, horseback ride, dirt bike ride, or take the family on a scenic bike ride. Driving distance to miniature and regular golf, go-carts, as well as water slides and and an alpine slide. There is also quaint Conway Village, Summer theatre, concerts, Heritage N.H. and Jackson Falls. The winter months offer downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating, sleigh rides, ice climbing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing, and tubing.
During the fall this is a great place to see the leaves change with the Kangamangus highway close by, as well as the scenic Conway and Cog railroad. The Fryeburg fair and apple picking are other fun Fall activities. You will be close to Echo lake State Park, The Mount Washington Auto Road and Cathedral Ledge. |
