This home is GORGEOUS, Luxurious, comfortable, inviting, and warm. One bedroom has two twin size beds. There is a 'bunk house' bedroom with three sets of bunk beds, a sofa sleeper, and TV. The other rooms are queen Size beds.
We even have queen airbeds for you to use if you need them. Cable, internet, and landline available. A two sided fireplace will keep everyone cozy if there happens to be a night you can make yourself leave the beach! The kitchen is stocked with the essentials including staples and spices.
The beach is awesome and there is even a point to walk out on to the bay of Lake Michigan. There are also Beach chairs available for your use. Traverse city is ten minutes away with it's shopping malls and other big city life. Elk Rapids Village is about two miles away with it's unique quaint shops, antique shops, Elk Rapids Museum, more awesome beaches,park, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, library with a huge book sale room and enclosed reading porch complete with rockers.
Elk Rapids Harbor Days is the first weekend in August and ends with a fireworks finale Saturday. In the summer there is 'Wednesday Nights on River Street' downtown , draw on the street, dance, music, eat, eat, eat, and have a ton of fun! There are also art and crafts fairs on some Saturdays on River street. The Elk Rapids Harbor has many boats to check out of all sizes. You can rent boats at the Elk River Marina to use on the bay or Elk Lake. Take a cruise down Elk Lake to Torch River then out to the famous Torch Lake Sandbar. |
