Just blocks off of United States Highway 19, this beautifully-renovated waterfront, ranch-style retreat is close to all conveniences, but a tranquil world apart. The 1/3-acre lot affords privacy, with mesmerizing views of the water from nearly every room. Completely updated with ceramic tile, fresh paint and custom blinds throughout, and side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, heating/air-conditioning system, ceiling fans and water heater.

The master bedroom is comfortably furnished with a queen bed and 21-inch TV, while the second bedroom sports two twin beds. The living room features Italian leather furniture, fireplace, and a 35-inch TV with DVD&VCR. A fully-equipped kitchen, all linens, satellite TV and local phone are provided.

You will be comfortable inside, outside, and in-between with the spacious Florida room. Located just off the kitchen/dining area, this indoor 'patio' provides direct access to the front and back yards, and is a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise, dine, share a cocktail in the evening, or listen to the wild Quaker Parakeets that visit often.

Enjoy the Pithlachascotee (also known as Cotee) River by watching manatees or fishing for snook, sheepshead, mangrove snapper, mullet,& blue crabs from your private seawall and floating dock. Explore the water by boat (bring your own or rent directly across the river); you have full, deep water access to the Gulf of Mexico, restaurants, bars, beaches, fishing and parks.

A short sail into the Gulf takes to Anclote Key Preserve with it's four-mile-long beach, 1887 lighthouse and 43 species of birds. Or a short ride up river takes you to several New Port Richey parks, including the 80 acre James Grey Nature Preserve.

Walk through New Port Richey's historic downtown and riverside park. Play golf at one of three public courses within four miles, or dozens in the surrounding county. Explore bike paths, hiking trails, a wildlife sanctuary, winery and a working ranch nearby. Only 15 minutes from the newly-completed Suncoast Parkway as well as the famous Sponge Docks and Greek Village in Tarpon Springs. Only 40 minutes from Tampa International Airport, world famous Clearwater beaches, and Busch Gardens. Less than two hours from Disney, Universal, Sea World, and other Orlando attractions.

  • My wife and I Spent a wonderful week in this "dollhouse". It was much more than we expected. It was very roomy on a large piece of property, with a great view on the Cotee river.

  • Had a wonderful time here spending the better part of a week back in March. Lovely location and property, great big screened in area out back looking at the water. Right across the river from a great spot for lunch, drinks, etc., where you can pull a boat right up and dock. Even saw a doplhin in the river that swam up close to the house & stayed to frolic around for a good half hour one morning. Would definitely recommend staying here to be able to enjoy the coastal area at a reasonable price.
