Windmoor is a grand beach home located on Cisco Beach, one of Nantucket's most prestigious and sought after locations. The beach is a short 500 foot walk down a dune path. The home boasts endless water views of the Atlantic. The large open floor plan and living spaces can easily handle two families and sleeps 10-12 people in its 2 master suites and 2 additional bedrooms. The second floor is the main living area and features a vaulted ceiling, wide plank pine flooring, a large bright kitchen with granite counter tops, wood beams, a library loft and a ladder to the widows walk. The widows walk offers unbelievable, 360 degree views. A 45’ 2nd floor deck across the front of the home offers water views and a full array of teak Adirondack chairs, lounge chairs and a picnic table with benches.
The custom home was built in 2000 and is one of the rare private homes with central air and a full basement being offered as a rental. It is situated on a professionally landscaped lot just off a shell covered sand street carved into the Cisco Beach moors.
Inside, the home is appointed with every amenity imaginable, such as ultra luxury linens, high speed wireless internet, plasma TV's, DVD, CD, stereo, cable, XM radio, 2 additional TV’s, bikes, strollers, cribs, surfboards, wakeboards and beach toys. HI! We are the McManus family from Philadelphia. I am Matthew McManus and my wife is Jennifer McManus, we have 2 young daughters under 10. I grew up in New England and summered in Nantucket my entire life. We have been fortunate enough to be able to buy a home in Nantucket and share with our children, family and friends the great place that Nantucket is. Our children love it and are making great chilhood memories of their own.
My wife Jennifer is a therapist and I am Chairman of Bluestone Real Estate Capital. Bluestone is a real estate investment bank headquartered in Philadelphia.
Jenn and I have been married since 1996, we had our Wedding in Nantucket since it holds such a special place in our hearts. We live outside of Philadelphia, PA in Chestnut Hill.
We have spent a lot of time and love updating and decorating our home and we hope that you will enjoy it and come back year after year. Windmoor is a second home to us, but it is our home. We spend a lot of time every year in Nantucket. We only rent a few weeks a year. We would love for you to be our guest.

The week before memorial day I stayed at Windmoor. I planned a vacation before the holdiay because the house was not available Memorial day weekend and my time was flexible. We have never been to Nantucket before. let me just say from the time we pulled into the drive way everything blew us away! The house was exactly as described and the photos on VRBO ( which I thought were nice) do not do the house justice. The house is in pristine contition and lovely! The master bed was very comfortable and you can hear the ocean! My children had the best time, the beach is a 2 min walk from the house. This was so convenient when going to the beach with young kids. The town is a close drive and shopping was great. My husband and I met a nice girl on the beach and she babysat one night, we were able to enjoy an adult very romantic dinner at Toppers at the Wauwinet Hotel this was one of the best meals I have ever had and we live in NY where great food is everywhere. We had a great table outside overlooking great point beach, it was beautiful and we saw the sunset. If you have a chance to go to Nantucket I would definitely try to stay at Windmoor, it was a great family vacation, the house was everything we had hoped for and Nantucket is our new favaorite place!
