Wisteria Cottage is just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean in the beautiful Southern neo-classic Coast Cottages Community featured in COASTAL LIVING MAGAZINE and near the 2003 Coastal Living Idea House. It is conveniently located within walking or biking distance from great restaurants, unique shops, interesting historical sites, and the quaint village of St. Simons with its historic lighthouse and pier.
This charming bungalow-style beach house features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, open kitchen, dining area and living room with gas starter fireplace, wood cabinetry, heart pine floors throughout, vaulted ceilings, and beautiful crown molding. The secluded 2nd floor master bedroom suite offers a king bed, sitting area, full bath and a cozy balcony with a view of the newly renovated historic 1935 U.S. Coast Guard Station. Relax and enjoy gentle ocean breezes from the spacious screened-in front porch facing Coast Cottages’ spectacular picket-fence lined streetscape.
Wisteria Cottage was the subject of a feature article appearing in the May 30, 2008 edition of the NEW YORK TIMES newspaper entitled "Houses with Southern Charm". The house comes impeccably furnished with a casual seaside elegance all its own. This pet friendly beach house is one of the very few Coast Cottages that accepts pets (under 60 lbs) for a small non-refundable cleaning fee. It is also a great place for bringing a laptop computer to the beach as a high speed wireless internet connection is available.
As our guests, you’ll enjoy use of Coast Cottages’ 2 beachside pools, changing rooms, sun deck, ocean front pavilion and private gated boardwalk access to St. Simons Island’s widest and most popular beach.

This has literally been my home away from home since November. I cannot adequately describe my joy at being able to live in this wonderful house. My first step inside was the deciding factor. Home isn't just a house. It's a feeling you get there. I have felt welcome and comfortable throughout my entire stay. Thank you so much for graciously opening your home to us wayward travelers. What a wonderful place this is. Enjoyed every minute of my stay here with my favorite niece and nephew. The ocean and beach are a magical place. Loved getting up every morning for a long walk and catching the sunrise. Thank you for sharing your lovely beach house.
