Less than a one and one-half hour drive from Downtown Chicago, this vacation home is situated in the beach community of Michiana Shores, Indiana. Intersecting Lake Michigan and Michigan State Line, Michiana Shores is an idyllic wooded community located in the southern basin of Lake Michigan.
Serene woodlands compliment miles of secluded beaches perfect for walking and hiking. The rear deck looks out into one acre of Virgin Michiana Forest, and Trail Creek, which is home to fish, deer, and unlimited bird species.
The towns of Michigan City, Indiana and New Buffalo, Michigan are less than five miles in either direction and provide unlimited shopping, restaurants, and other small town amenities. Fruit and apple farms are a short country drive away where hayrides and "pick-your-own" excursions are available.
This fully-furnished vacation home only requires you to bring food to cook in the full-size kitchen. Everything else is provided, so you only need to bring your toothbrush! Pets are NOT allowed. No Smoking.
This unit has a queen size bed in one bedroom, two singles in another bedroom and two pull-out couches in the front room. Since this is not a large two bedroom home, it is best suited for two to four full-time people, however the sleepers give you the flexibility to accommodate occasional overnight guests.
