This panoramic apartment is located in the heart of the historical centre of Nesso, overlooking the principle church and facing the lake. Nesso is located on the Como 'Branch' of the Lake, along the road from Como to Bellagio. It is made up of a beautiful historical centre with picturesque groups of antique, quaint houses spread along the hilly slopes and shore of the lake.
The village centre is situated in the point where the Tuf and Nose streams, which descend the Pian di Tivano, join and form the waterfall that plunges spectacularly into a gorge. The latter can be seen from the road or from the lake, by passing under an old bridge in a boat. Nearby there are ruins of a castle, with a high wall and three small towers. The Pian di Nesso is at a height of about 900 metres. It is a scenic mountain locality and is on the way to Monte Palanzone and Monte San Primo.
General Description
This quaint apartment offers a pleasant view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Set in the historical borgo of Nesso it is reachable by foot from the main road. While the property has no private parking space there is a free public parking area just 30 meters away.
The apartment is accessed directly from a picturesque lane; then just a few more steps up the lane, in a higher position, one can enjoy a private garden and terrace, ideal for sunbathing, eating ‘al fresco’ during the beautiful summer evenings or simply to relax and take in those incredible views.
Technical Description
Just 10 steps take you from the lane to the entrance of the property; from the spacious hall you go to the living/dining room, with sofa, chairs and table suitable for people, SAT TV, 2 balconies - both with lake view; the small kitchen is very well lit and equipped with 2 fridges, gas stove, microwave oven and American coffee machine.
The double bedroom is spacious and furnished like the rest of the apartment with antique furnishings and next door to the bedroom you have the bathroom with bath-tub.
