Why the Owner Chose Ixtapa
We love visiting Mexico for the weather and culture, and we have been especially drawn to the Ixtapa area. We came here about four times before deciding to buy this property. We always feel safe and welcome in the towns of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo, and it is a very good place to bring kids.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
This villa is special because it is right on the ocean. Breakfast on the patio is the best, with the ocean breezes coming in. We can confidently say that there is not another place to stay on this entire beach with better access. We are about 20 steps from the pool, and another 20 from the sand.

Christmas Holiday in Mexico

The property was in good shape, and any problems were quickly solved by Lourdes the agent. Unfortunately the pool which the condo is close to plays music from 10 am on to 5. That is not a problem , but the local entertainer who revs up the noise and encourages the few people listening to him over the loudspeakers was a supreme annoyance. Other than that it was a superb comfortable holiday, which we would do again. The sunset cruise on the catamaran was the highlight of the trip, the deep sea fishing questionable. But a trip to Barra de Potosi was the easiest beach to get into the water, and the water was superb. A visit to the Isle of Ixtapa was greatly enjoyed.

We just returned from a week of sun and fun. The property was better than presented. There villa was so spacious that we know when we return we could bring more people with us. The housekeeper, Marie, was efficient and an excellent cook. She cooked two dinners for us. There was enough food for two meals each time. She introduced us to some new soups and salsa's that we wish we could have recipe's for. She spoke no English but it didn't matter. If you know a little spanish you will be able to communicate with her. We were happy that we chose not to do the All Inclusive Option of $70 per day. We ate more healthy than in years past. Lots of fruit and vegetables all day. We took a taxi to the market for groceries for the week.He waited the hour with us and then returned. This was very safe and cost effective. We loved our time there and hope to return next year. The only thing that could have made it better was to have acess to the washer and dryer. But we managed!!

We had an excellent time. We rented the Villa from Jan 15 - 22 2011. We shared it with 2 other couples and we had plenty of room. The place was very clean, convienent, close to pool, ocean & resturants. There were activities at the pool all day that you could participate in or just sit on the deck and enjoy. We had a wonderful time and would go again in a minute, next time take the kids . It would be perfect for both kids and adults. Loved it.

Our family's second visit to Ixtapa in the last 5 years and our absolute favorite destination in Mexico. Our children (age 18, 16, 11) love the pool, beach, resort and villa. My wife and I love the great location, excellent and consistent weather (always 85 and sunny) and spacious and well cared for accommodations. Ixtapa city is wonderful to walk to and we felt like we got to know all the wonderful shop/restaurant owners. We saw a noticeable improvement in quality and quantity of shopping and restaurants. There is plenty to do in Zihauantano (fishing/shopping/eating) and we had a chance to visit the countryside with a short day trip. We think this is a great family resort and having access to the pool, albeit with some music during the day from the resort was fun but not a problem. Our kids actually joined in the many activities - dance lessons, pool games, turtle watching and evening shows at the resort and loved it. Our family considers this not only the most relaxing but best vacation ever - we would return anytime the weather turns cold. The spacious accommodations, your own patio and access to both resort and beach make this a wonderful place to spend a holiday in the sun with family. Try the coconut icecream with a little kahula!

We enjoyed Ixtapa and the location of the condo is great. One problem that would keep us from renting this location again was the extreamly loud, pounding, repetitive music from 9am to 5pm everyday. The speakers were right outside our door. It became unbearable and we could not sit outside on the patio at the condo. Once you were on the beach you could not hear it.
Owner response:We were sorry to hear about music speakers being right outside the villa. This is a new situation after the recent pool construction that we were unaware of, and we are working with the hotel management to get these speakers moved back to their prior location next to the pool bar.

My wife, 2 kids and in-laws stayed at villa 11 in Dec 2009 to early Jan 2010 and had a fantastic time. The property manager met us, showed us to the villa and was very accommodating throughout our stay. She had arranged for someone to come in to do the shopping, cook and do some extra cleaning & laundry. The villa was large, very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect, beside the pool, overlooking the beach. The jacuzzi on the balcony was great, motor was broken but nice to soak with the kids. For New Year's eve we had the best location from the balcony we could see fireworks up the beach from all of the other resorts. The rip tide was quite strong, we had lifejackets on the kids while on the beach. We had a brilliant time.

We had a wonderful time in Ixtapa Dec. 27th thru Jan. 5, 2008. This Villa is large, very spacious, and a magnificent location right on the beach ..... just as promised! We traveled with four young adults ages 19 - 28. This truly was one of our favorite family trips. The weather was perfect and the beach is a nice soft sand. The adjacent hotel was a little difficult to work with. Nevertheless, if we get the chance to travel to Ixtapa again, we definitely would want to stay at this villa! Also, Mauri and Lourdes are a real pleasure to work with.

Got back yesterday from our favorite Mexican escape…Ixtapa. Must say, you have got the premium location for the Villa. It was perfect for my husband and I with two “grown” girls (age 20 and 22). We all need our own space sometimes and this gave us just what we needed. And the location – WOW! I must say, I was concerned about being right next to the pool, but the unit was very sound proof. The unit had everything we needed and best of all...steps to the palapa's and the ocean. I am so glad we found you and will definitely be back!!
