This delightful property is located with 100 feet of Level sandy beach on Echo Lake. Echo Lake is a wooded alpine lake only 25 miles from Kalispell, Montana, around 35 miles from Glacier National Park, Montana, and five minutes from the village of BigFork. This property has included a very nice boat dock and level sandy beach. Echo Lake is a clear beautiful water lake with excellent boating and fishing. The area has lots of hiking (Jewel Basin Hiking are can be seen from the deck) and is surrounded on the East by Swan Range Mountains.
This cabin is located on the West shore so it boasts a spectacular view of the Swan Range. This cabin is furnished nicely. Come and enjoy the Flathead Valley of Montana for a peaceful vacation that you will not likely be able to duplicate elsewhere. The rooms are fully furnished. The unit features a handsome wood interior with a fireplace and complete kitchen facilities including range, microwave, refrigerator. We have a dock to put your boat at.
There are good dining and socializing facilities really close by. There is great hiking, biking, and touring of Glacier Park. Montana is known for massive mountains, expansive prairies and epic tales of adventure. Montana offers top quality golf courses, skiing, whitewater rafting, hunting, and trout fishing. The northwest corner is home to two popular travel destinations, Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. Twenty minutes to Flathead Lake and National Geographic featured Jewell Basin. There is an abundance of hiking trails close to our area as well as several lakes to go boating on if one desires. Whether it is the rosy dawn playing on the surface of the lake at sunrise, or the purple haze of the Swan Mountain backdrop, or the moon's glow reflected off the waters at night, your senses will delight in all that this place has to offer. Days are filled with relaxation. Write or read your favorite book. Sunbathe on the deck overlooking the lake. Mealtime can be outdoors or in.

No problem with computer access. We did exactly what you suggested and printed out access codes before we left. Had internet access the whole time we were there—in fact, better than our cell phone service, which was spotty (Cingular.) Had an absolutely fabulous time at your place! Everyone loved it, and there was room enough for all, even the cot we brought along for our littlest. We made and ate first-rate meals, the folks sat on the shady balcony watching their kids and grandkids on the dock, my mom made a painting of the stunning view of Echo Lake with the Swan range in the background, we rented a speed boat for a day with a double inner tube and dragged the kids behind, took the folks on a gentle ride in and out of the myriad coves and around the islets—what a blast we all had, what a glorious setting, and what a truly unusual and lovely lake! So much shoreline and so many nooks and crannies for everyone to enjoy and explore and all so very pretty. Spent a day in Glacier, did a day hike in Jewel Basin, and swam, swam, swam in the lake. I don’t generally swim because I find the water too cold, but like you said, it was delightful and invitingly warm. Kids had a great time so parents and grandparents had a great time. It was truly one of the best vacations our extended family ever had together—and that’s saying a lot, ‘cause we’re very picky as a group! We all found the house very well furbished and the kitchen very well-provisioned (great steak knives!) too. The only issue we had the whole time we were there was that we ran short of bath towels. We used our own beach towels down at the dock, but we were still short in the bathroom. (We also bought ourselves some night lights so grandparents and kids could make their way to the bathroom at night.) Kern, we’re so very happy we found your place! We’re all thinking we’d like to do a re-run—Could you put us down for same time same place next year? JThank you so much for providing us such a lovely home for our reunion. Kern, Had a GREAT time at the cabin as usual. Rented a boat one of the days, and water skied for the first time ever! Hiked Jewel basin, swam and hung with the folks, who sat on the balcony and outside under the trees. We liked the new floor treatments—far easier to keep clean
