Just steps from the mountain, this deluxe, breathtaking, spacious, (1250 Square feet and the largest of all VRBO rentals) newly-renovated, luxury, ground-floor, corner unit in Mountainwood is located right around the corner from the Quicksilver Ski Lift at the base of Peak 9. (Unique with King Beds in both bedrooms and a queen in the sleeper sofa!) It is conveniently located less than a block from Main Street Station, boutiques, shops, and night clubs in the heart of Breckenridge. A variety of excellent restaurants - serving everything from Sushi to Italian - are within walking distance.
During your stay, you can enjoy the gold rush atmosphere of historic Breckenridge with one of the top-rated North American ski complexes right at your front door in the winter. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, hot air ballooning, kayaking, horseback riding, jeep tours of gold rush ghost towns, and above all sunshine, blue skies, and cool nights. Additionally, the Breckenridge Recreation Center offers a fitness center, swimming pool, rock climbing wall, and various other activities and classes for the entire family. This beautiful condominium is located between the Marriott Mountain Lodge and Hyatt Main Street Station and offers comfortable accommodations at a fraction of their cost. This VRBO Condo is the largest one within Mountainwood. Right around the corner is our private club that has 4 hot tubs and a heated outdoor pool. We have a heated garage where you can leave your car as you are a short walk to town and about 20 great restaurants.

Complete Rentals and Tuning for Ski equipment. Mia Casa is a great Spanish Restaurant.

Kathy and I had looked at many resorts such as Snowmass, Steamboat, Copper and others before deciding to purchase in Breckenridge. We loved the feel of a real town and the short commute from Denver Airport. Unlike many condo's we have upgraded it so that it feels like a upscale home in the Mountains. If you like the Ritz or Hyatt, you will love our Condo. A short 75 yard walk puts you at the Quicksilver lift. In the Summer, you have dozens of beautiful hikes filled with wild flowers within a few short miles. If you have a non-skier with you, they are 100 yards from the top of town. My family of five (three children under 10) had a wonderful first vacation in Breckenridge. The Handley condo is just a short walk to the Silverlift where our children were in Ski School. We hardly used the rental car; almost everything we did was in walking distance: mountain, rental shop, groceries, shopping, restaurants,spa and ice skating. The Handleys sent us maps, instructions, directions, etc were all easyto follow and very helpful. We will definatley come back again and again. The Boren Family- St. Louis, MO

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Handley’s Mountainwood condo. Conveniently located near the slopes and the town, the condo is very well maintained and stocked with spices, movies, humidifier and all the comforts of home. The owner was readily available to answer questions and ensure every part of our trip, from purchasing ski lift tickets, acclimation, to where to tune and store our skis was addressed. We will definitely rent from the Handley’s again.

Our stay at Alpine Paradise was fabulous. You couldn't ask for a better location, near shops, restaurants, and the lift. The condo was nice and spacious, appeared recently renovated, and had everything you could need during your stay - it truly felt like you were in a friend's home. The underground parking is a huge plus. We hope to return next year!

We enjoy being so close to the mountain, easy walk around town, yet after a long day of skiing everyone felt they could relax by the fireplace and rest/eat at home. The kitchen has all the culinary essentials. Owner strives to keep it clean and secure. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit (bring lots of quarters). The bathrooms and bedrooms were well maintained. We have stayed here twice and have no interest in looking elsewhere when we want to ski Breckenridge..

What a great experience! We were excited to be so close to the slopes and anxious to see the condo, let's just say we've been in some interesting ones over the years. We were blown away, the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, layout, etc... were exceptional. This has been the best rental experience for us yet (and we rent 2-3 times a year in breck/vail). The first floor access is fantastic, the check in process so much easier than traditional Property Management company situations. We are already looking for our return dates to Mountainwood.

Stayed in this beautifully decorated unit for four nights. The unit is well equipped, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The contact with the owners was very efficient and responded to my questions promptly. The check in into the unit was quick.

Alpine Paradise is a beautiful place. Luxury and Location describes it best. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and could not believe the upgrades that Bill & Kathy did. New kitchen, granite, bathrooms, carpeting. It was all there. We love the short easy walk to the Quicksilver lift and the short walk to a dozen restaurants in town. We hope to go back again the next season.

I had stayed at Alpine Paradise a couple of years ago and skied and really loved the location and how helpful the Handley's were. I went back in June for a little summer fun and could not believe how nice the place was. Upgraded granite, cabinets, carpeting, TV's, etc. Bill & Kathy did not miss anything. I felt like I was staying at the "Ritz". Because of the beautiful place and great location in reference to the lifts, town and hot tub, I will do my best to go back. Kristen Beal

We just spent two fabulous weeks at this condo. It was recently remodeled and its just beautiful . Everything you might need is there to make your stay comfortable and it's very convenient to downtown, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking down to the river and around Maggie Pond just across the street. It was perfect for our summer vacation, there is so much to do.and the flowers are spectacular

This was one of the nicest, upscale, luxury condo's that I have stayed at in my 10 years of sking. Upscale leather furniture, flat screen TV's, cozy fireplace, every pot, pan, appliance that you would want in a kitchn. The king size beds in both bedrooms really rocked. I have stayed here in both the winter and summer and loved it and hope to go back soon.

We triedl to add all the touches that would make people feel welcome and home. We added a spice rack, coffee grinder, and enough pots/pans for a large thanksgiviing dinner. Bill & Kathy
