Just steps from the mountain, this deluxe, breathtaking, spacious, (1250 Square feet and the largest of all VRBO rentals) newly-renovated, luxury, ground-floor, corner unit in Mountainwood is located right around the corner from the Quicksilver Ski Lift at the base of Peak 9. (Unique with King Beds in both bedrooms and a queen in the sleeper sofa!) It is conveniently located less than a block from Main Street Station, boutiques, shops, and night clubs in the heart of Breckenridge. A variety of excellent restaurants - serving everything from Sushi to Italian - are within walking distance.

During your stay, you can enjoy the gold rush atmosphere of historic Breckenridge with one of the top-rated North American ski complexes right at your front door in the winter. In the summer, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, hot air ballooning, kayaking, horseback riding, jeep tours of gold rush ghost towns, and above all sunshine, blue skies, and cool nights. Additionally, the Breckenridge Recreation Center offers a fitness center, swimming pool, rock climbing wall, and various other activities and classes for the entire family. And if all this is not enough - there is a wonderful puzzle store in town, a quilt shop, an Internet cafe, and DVD/video rental stores.

This beautiful condominium is located between the Marriott Mountain Lodge and Hyatt Main Street Station and offers comfortable accommodations at a fraction of their cost. You will appreciate the convenience of heated underground parking, elevators, plenty of storage room, a washer and dryer down the hall, and easy access to the free town shuttle. Guests also have access to the nearby Columbine swimming pool and four indoor and outdoor hot tubs.

This residence has a fully equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace in the dining and living area, and a huge deck that includes a gas grill and provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The living room and bedrooms all contain their own TV/VCR combinations for your viewing pleasure. The splendidly decorated master bedroom has a KING bed, a walk-in closet, and a newly-renovated private bathroom with a double vanity. The second bedroom also has a KING bed, with the guest bathroom just down the hall. For extra guests, the couch in the living room includes a queen hide-a-bed.

  • The condo was a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious and included everything we would need for a weeks stay. Fireplace, washer/dryer, closet space, bedrooms, kitchen, and living room area. One of the best features of the condo is its location to the slopes. We could pretty much ski out the back door and down to the Quicksilver chairlift. The 5 min walk in my ski boots was easy, and I could ski down a hill most of the way! For lunch, we would simply walk back up to the condo and eat a lunch that we had bought at the grocery store. That saves a lot of money and time (no lines). That gave us time to rest up and dry off anything that got wet.

  • The Condo was great, the king size beds were awesome. The kitchen was ready to cook in, plenty of pots, pans, plates , drinking glasses, & utensils. There were a bunch of movies, books, and board games for the little kids and us big kids too. Huge back patio w/ table and chairs. This place is across the street from the Mountain Lodge Marriot which is backed up to the Quick Silver Lift. Walk across the street, rent your skis then walk out the back door, across a bridge to the lift. Works out great, you store your skis/ boots at the rental Co next to the lift and dont have to carry your gear back and fourth. Another great thing was that the condo owner called me and gave me some great information on what to do, what to expect, and awnsered any other questions I had. We hope to stay there again.

There are many restuarants within walking distance.I really enjoyed the BBQ unit on the very large deck. The underground parking was extremely convient. We will return!!   • Location, location, location! This was absolutely perfect. We stayed at the Handley’s beautiful Mountainwood condo during our ski vacation. We could not have found a better place. It had all the amenities of home. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the lift and then ski in and out for lunch. In the evening, we were only minutes away from the excitement of town. We can’t wait to come again.
