My family of five (three children under 10) had a wonderful first vacation in Breckenridge. The Handley condo is just a short walk to the Silverlift where our children were in Ski School. We hardly used the rental car; almost everything we did was in walking distance: mountain, rental shop, groceries, shopping, restaurants,spa and ice skating. The Handleys sent us maps, instructions, directions, etc were all easyto follow and very helpful. We will definatley come back again and again. The Boren Family- St. Louis, MO

Excellent Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Handley’s Mountainwood condo. Conveniently located near the slopes and the town, the condo is very well maintained and stocked with spices, movies, humidifier and all the comforts of home. The owner was readily available to answer questions and ensure every part of our trip, from purchasing ski lift tickets, acclimation, to where to tune and store our skis was addressed. We will definitely rent from the Handley’s again.

Our stay at Alpine Paradise was fabulous. You couldn't ask for a better location, near shops, restaurants, and the lift. The condo was nice and spacious, appeared recently renovated, and had everything you could need during your stay - it truly felt like you were in a friend's home. The underground parking is a huge plus. We hope to return next year!

We enjoy being so close to the mountain, easy walk around town, yet after a long day of skiing everyone felt they could relax by the fireplace and rest/eat at home. The kitchen has all the culinary essentials. Owner strives to keep it clean and secure. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit (bring lots of quarters). The bathrooms and bedrooms were well maintained. We have stayed here twice and have no interest in looking elsewhere when we want to ski Breckenridge..

What a great experience! We were excited to be so close to the slopes and anxious to see the condo, let's just say we've been in some interesting ones over the years. We were blown away, the kitchen, bathrooms, closets, layout, etc... were exceptional. This has been the best rental experience for us yet (and we rent 2-3 times a year in breck/vail). The first floor access is fantastic, the check in process so much easier than traditional Property Management company situations. We are already looking for our return dates to Mountainwood.

Stayed in this beautifully decorated unit for four nights. The unit is well equipped, clean and the beds are very comfortable. The contact with the owners was very efficient and responded to my questions promptly. The check in into the unit was quick.

Summer Vacation

We just spent two fabulous weeks at this condo. It was recently remodeled and its just beautiful . Everything you might need is there to make your stay comfortable and it's very convenient to downtown, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking down to the river and around Maggie Pond just across the street. It was perfect for our summer vacation, there is so much to do.and the flowers are spectacular

Luxury, Location and a beautiful renovation

I had stayed at Alpine Paradise a couple of years ago and skied and really loved the location and how helpful the Handley's were. I went back in June for a little summer fun and could not believe how nice the place was. Upgraded granite, cabinets, carpeting, TV's, etc. Bill & Kathy did not miss anything. I felt like I was staying at the "Ritz". Because of the beautiful place and great location in reference to the lifts, town and hot tub, I will do my best to go back. Kristen Beal

Luxury Condo, Great Location by Peak 9, Quicksilver lift

This was one of the nicest, upscale, luxury condo's that I have stayed at in my 10 years of sking. Upscale leather furniture, flat screen TV's, cozy fireplace, every pot, pan, appliance that you would want in a kitchn. The king size beds in both bedrooms really rocked. I have stayed here in both the winter and summer and loved it and hope to go back soon.

Owner response:Kathy and I tried to make the a very nice upscale 2nd home. We had stayed in a lot of rental homes that just had the miniumum. We triedl to add all the touches that would make people feel welcome and home. We added a spice rack, coffee grinder, and enough pots/pans for a large thanksgiviing dinner. Bill & Kathy

Luxury and Location by Peak Nine

Alpine Paradise is a beautiful place. Luxury and Location describes it best. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and could not believe the upgrades that Bill & Kathy did. New kitchen, granite, bathrooms, carpeting. It was all there. We love the short easy walk to the Quicksilver lift and the short walk to a dozen restaurants in town. We hope to go back again the next season.

What a great property. The condo is set up nicely with lots of storage and everything you need. The location is great as it is between town and the slopes. An easy walk to either! The owner was very nice and helpful. We will be back!

The Condo was great, the king size beds were awesome. The kitchen was ready to cook in, plenty of pots, pans, plates , drinking glasses, & utensils. There were a bunch of movies, books, and board games for the little kids and us big kids too. Huge back patio w/ table and chairs. This place is across the street from the Mountain Lodge Marriot which is backed up to the Quick Silver Lift. Walk across the street, rent your skis then walk out the back door, across a bridge to the lift. Works out great, you store your skis/ boots at the rental Co next to the lift and dont have to carry your gear back and fourth. Another great thing was that the condo owner called me and gave me some great information on what to do, what to expect, and awnsered any other questions I had. We hope to stay there again.

The condo was a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious and included everything we would need for a weeks stay. Fireplace, washer/dryer, closet space, bedrooms, kitchen, and living room area. One of the best features of the condo is its location to the slopes. We could pretty much ski out the back door and down to the Quicksilver chairlift. The 5 min walk in my ski boots was easy, and I could ski down a hill most of the way! For lunch, we would simply walk back up to the condo and eat a lunch that we had bought at the grocery store. That saves a lot of money and time (no lines). That gave us time to rest up and dry off anything that got wet.

We had a wonderful time at your condo. It truly is a home away from home. It is decorated very nicely and there are so many extras that you don't find in other condo's. Lot's of pillows, blankets, well stocked kitchen in great shape and super clean. Great loation too.

Thank you to the Handleys for helping arrange our last-minute New Year's Eve arrival. Bill's helpful suggestions and detailed instructions led to an enjoyable stay at their comfortable and convenient condo. We enjoyed skiing/boarding at both Breckenridge and Vail, with its variety of conditions; sunny, snowy, warm, cold! Perfect Mountain, Perfect Town!

Location, location, location! This was absolutely perfect. We stayed at the Handley’s beautiful Mountainwood condo during our ski vacation. We could not have found a better place. It had all the amenities of home. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the lift and then ski in and out for lunch. In the evening, we were only minutes away from the excitement of town. We can’t wait to come again.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The unit is very nicely decorated and sparkling clean. All applainces worked and the televisions had excellent reception The location is perfect. There are many restuarants within walking distance.I really enjoyed the BBQ unit on the very large deck. The underground parking was extremely convient. We will return!! We will definitely be returning.

What a wonderful place to get stranded after a post-Christmas blizzard! We especially enjoyed the large, king-sized beds, multiple storage spaces, and the most extensively equipped kitchen in any vacation/rental property we've encountered. The combination indoor/outdoor hot tubs nearby were also a big hit. We would most definitely stay at your place again.
