Rainbow Rock Ranch is a five-acre hilltop property with fabulous ocean and forest views. Located one mile from the ocean and two miles from world renowned Harris Beach State Park. Redwood National Park is 20 miles to the south, the famous Rouge River and Gold Beach is 20 miles to the north. Rainbow Rock Ranch is two miles north of the town of Brookings. Close in but a world away.
This is a very private guest house with no neighbors. Guest house overlooks two ponds and a two thousand square foot bird aviary stocked with golden jungle fowl, golden pheasants, silver pheasants, peacocks, wood ducks, and mallard ducks. The property has lots of wild life viewing, deer, wild turkeys and more bird species than you can count. Also on the property is a very private creekside picnic area with a barbeque pit, firepit, swingset, prep table with storage. Lighting is available for nighttime get-togethers. The park sits adjacent to a babbling creek with a waterfall.
The guest house is a two story, high beam-ceilinged, 1400 square-foot house. The downstairs has a full kitchen, a living room with a gas log potbelly stove, a double-sized murphy bed and a hide-a-bed couch. Also a full bathroom with laundry facilities and a wonderful tiled shower. There is inside access to the spacious two-car garage that has a ping-pong table available for your use.
The upstairs has a very large bedroom with cathedral ceilings and 14-foot view windows overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean, the ponds and bird aviary. It has two new queen-sized beds, a full bathroom and a large walk-in closet. Windowed alcoves frame views of ponds and horse pastures.
There are accommodations for a small pet. There is an outside dog run with inside garage access. Pets are not allowed inside the guest house. An additional refundable security deposit for pets is required.

May 01-Sept 30.. $155/Night (for two people) .. $900/Week
Oct 01-Apr 30 .. $135/Night (for two people) .. $800/Week
Holiday weekends are Summer rates. Each additional person is $10/night. There is a
refundable security/cleaning deposit required-provided unit is returned in exact
clean condition as rented. Or you may choose to pay cleaning fee of $65.
Two night minimum stay, three nights on holiday weekends.
Half payment due at time of booking, half fee due at time of arrival.

We have been looking forward for a long time to coming here, and we were not dissapointed. We enjoyed our time here and are taking home some good memories. Our kids enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels and feeding the horses. We haven't been to this part of the Oregon coast so we enjoyed playing on the beaches. We wanted to try out the mail boats and Stoute grove like you recommened, but unfortunatly our youngest was sick for a few days and we had to change those plans. The others had so much fun playing on the ranch that our vacation was still a great success. Thanks so much for your gracious hospitality. We hope we can make it back here and do some more exploring. My daughter & I came for some nice downtime. We definitly got what we bargained for. This place is so quiet compared to our fast city life. Our stay was wonderful and we definitly felt right at home. I wish we could stay a few more weeks. Unfortunatly reality is having to go back to work. Enjoyed the bird aviary & horses. We will definitly keep this place in mind for our next quiet time.
