Welcome to Beautiful Saunders Reef House:

Saunders Reef House is a beautiful, spacious home with blue and white water views of California's north coast from several rooms. In fact, you can see the ocean from the front door entry, kitchen, family room, Master bath and Master bedroom, the Kids' room (this special place has a futon, bunk beds, a trundle & toy box, table for art projects and their own TV to watch videos in the morning when they get up before everyone else). We invite you to make yourselves at home here. This is a very kid friendly home with a tree fort and maps to our favorite spots.

Whether you are planning a romantic getaway for two, a trip with friends, or a family gathering, this fully equipped home with full kitchen will make your coast visit a memorable experience. Large decks with hot tub make this the perfect spot to observe the migration of whales and hear the barking of sea lions in the nearby cove. A short walk or drive to a very private beach nicknamed "Boom Boom Beach", you'll soon know why when you visit it. The waves make the loudest 'boom boom' sound as they role in. If Ocean Kayaking is your passion, there are several points in this area to launch your boat, the easiest being the Point Arena pier.

Enjoy Schooner Gulch beach and Bowling Ball Beach both less than 5 miles away. There is a nearby airport for those who fly. Also, a nearby park less than 8 miles up Iversen Rd. A slower pace of life is enjoyed all along the coast and Mystery and Mysticism of the coast brings out the child in all who visit. Whether it be beach walking or tide-pooling, children young and old will love the area. Swing and cable ride coming soon!!! Our home is pet friendly.

We rent through our management company, but offer discounts that can vary, depending on season, tim eof occupancy, and if you book last minute and there is an opening. The rate increases depending on the number of people for rental.

  • We spent last Thanksgiving in this great home and are heading back tomorrow for out second Thanksgiving in your home. As soon as we walked in, we were all pleasantly surprised. Our kids (that includes my husband) were really excited to see a pool table and arcade games. Many great walks to the beach. Hot tub is always a bonus. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at you big table and the breakfast bar was used for jigsaw puzzle we all worked on during our stay. There was lots of room and everyone was very comfortable. We have stayed at many houses in Gualala area and this is one of our favorites.

  • Very inviting home with lots to do. There was a video archade game and pool table the beaches were close and inviting. We were able to walk to a great abolone dive spot
