Wonderfull Stay At A Victorian Gem
Wonderfull Stay At A Victorian Gem

My Husband and I chose this cottage for our 2nd visit to the wonderfull city of San Francisco. It was perfect. The location on a quiet residential street with parking was lovely and only a 5 minute walk to a vibrant area of shops and restaurants. It's in Cow Hollow which is an ideal location for being so close to all the 'Must Sees' of the city. Pamela was very much a hands on host and met us at the cottage to show us all the little details and give us her personal reccomendations. The photos really don't do it justice or show how spacious and open it is or it's wonderful Victorian meets Modern charm. We ate breakfast in most mornings and were so comfortable that we usually got a late start on our day. It far surpassed any traditional hotel accomodations as well as last year's VRBO unit. Pamela has many repeat guests and it's easy to see why.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your lovely comments. Its people like you who make VRBO'ing a wonderful experience. I love offering what used to be my home in my favorite city to people so they can fall in love with San francisco, leave their heart here only to come back and find it waiting for them.

Thank you for providing "OUR HOME" in SF. We sincerely feel blessed that we were lucky enough to rent your home for our stay in the city. Everything was great. Maybe next year we'll try the plumbed in expresso maker. Much appreciation and Warmest Wishes, Claudia and JohnDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Thanks Pamela, lovely home, fabulous kitchen and so close to all the places we know and love in Cow Hollow/Marina. The weather gods also smiled on us so our stay was that much more special. We hope to be back or hoping that one of our sons may bring his wife next time. Thanks again, JudyDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Dear Pamela, Thank you for allowing us to have a HOME AWAY FROM HOME here in beautiful San Francisco. After long days enjoying the many pleasures of SF, it was welcoming to come home to such a peaceful and beautiful home. Your recommendations for dinner were perfect, we enjoyed Brazenhead, Homeplate, Cliff House, all the more memorable meals and hospitality. Sausalito was our favorite trip. Thanks so much for the tip. We can't wait to come back and if you are ever in soutn Florida, please look us up Dee and Manny Fort Lauderdale, FLDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Blue skies, summer temps and "my own" charming San Francisco pied a terre. Who could ask for more- Its like coming home to walk up your steps and through the door. Dianne Krall a huge bonus. I think I overdosed on this trip. Thanks for such comfort Judy, St Louis, MissouriDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: I'm originally Australian but have lived in the US since 1993. Of all the places I have lived in the world including Sydney, Japan, Saipan, London, Carmel Miami and San Francisco, San Francisco is my favorite. I love cycling and skiing and all the wonderful activities the bay area has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Pacific Heights:
I Chose this property for the Location. It is within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and amenities yet on a residential street. You can also walk toThis was chosen by way of default. This VRBO was my actual home and when I had to go to Australia to attend to my 90 year old mother I VRBO'd it. Now I live just 4 blocks away with my partner. I love the area so much.
