  After spending many vacations in a hotel room, we decided to try something different. We couldn't have been happier! This condo is just lovely. Ideal location with amazing views, we enjoy relaxing on the lanai taking in the glorious sunsets and ocean. Carol and Barry have done a wonderful job decorating this property, it's just so warm and cozy. We would highly recommend this spot to family and friends. We completely enjoy our time spent here and look forward to our next visit. Mahalo, Barry and Carol, for sharing your wonderful place with us.

  This was our second stay at this amazing condo. Beautifully decorated, and well maintained, with stunning views of the ocean and pool area. Days at the beach, family dinners on the lanai, and an evening swim in the pool - memories we will cherish forever. Owners are most helpful and gracious. We will definitely be booking this one again!

  The pictures did not do the condo justice as it looks even better in person. No attention to detail has been spared, the appliances and kitchen and dining equipment were so well equipped that we could entertain ourselves or a group for dinner and everything worked out.The location of this unit has to be one of the best on the property and we know as we have been coming to this property for 30 years. You can see the whales from the lanai, pretty spectacular! Great to just sit on the lanai and have drinks in the evening and see the great pool all lit up with the torches all around. It is such a convenient location to Castaway's right on the property or take a trolley bus into Whalers Village for some shopping and good food. Great walks and beach walk right out the door. The property itself is such a jewel, hidden in some ways , but with such a tropical feel . Also, you are handy to tennis and golf within walking distance..

  We love this condo and this complex. Very spacious and great view. The unit is exceptionally well equipped, very clean and truly the best place to stay!

  My wife and I stayed in this excellently located and equipped 1 Bdrm Condo and really enjoyed our stay. Modern Appliances, with Ice Maker in the fridge, and a Blender for fruity drinks so as to relax on the patio after a day in the sun, what more could you ask for! The condo overlooks the main Pool area so you can see when seating is available, and the beach is only just past the pool. A pathway connnecting all adjoining resorts meanders past the pool and you can watch walkers and joggers pass by or join as you like. We also ate at the restauant on the property and found it to be excellant as well.I would strongly recommend this Condo because of it's amenities and location as I know one would not be disappointed with their stay!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

  Beautiful location, very nice unit with large patio/deck. Enjoyed the property and our stay very much. Owner is accommodating and attentive to your needs, pool is just steps from unit, good restaurant less than a minute from unit, bar-b-q is just a minute from unit and tennis club is next door. What more could you want!

  My husband, 10 month old son and I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2011. We came to Maui for a wedding held in Lahaina, and the Aston hotels were recommended as a mid-range hotel chain by the couple. Since we knew we wouldn't be spending a ton of time at the resort, we just wanted something affordable and nice, but not with a ton of resort amenities which you pay for. This particular hotel appealed to us because of its proximity to Lahaina and because it had been recently updated and looked like it had a nice pool and a kitchen in each of the units. We originally booked directly with the hotel, but checked VRBO the week before we were arriving and noticed this unit was available. We contacted the owners who immediately wrote us back and allowed us to rent it for a shorter time period than the normally required 1 week, and they even knocked $20 off the nightly rate since it was short notice, which made the cost of staying in this 1 BR just $25 higher than what we would have paid the hotel for a studio. Great deal! The condo was clean, airy and we appreciated the updated kitchen and bathroom! The kitchen was completely stocked with any kitchen utensils/glassware/etc you would need, though we only ate breakfast here each day. The view was great, I loved that we had a water view, though it was mostly of the pool - you could only somewhat see the ocean behind the pool. But it was pretty none-the-less. Huge patio which we sat on every day once our son went to sleep. The only reason I gave this unit 4 instead of 5 stars had to do with the Property Management company that the owners use. One downside of doing VRBO is that you don't get to call the hotel for pool towels, a crib or high chair. We ended up having to rent these separately from a furniture rental company. This added $15 to our daily costs which we had not anticipated. When I asked the Property Mgt company about needing a crib, she said she would look into but we never heard back from her. When I contacted them again, the man who answered gave me the names of two local companies which we used. When we checked our credit card bill after we left Hawaii, we saw another charge from the Property Mgt company - turned out it was for a Pack n Play that they had ordered for us. They never confirmed this with us, we thought it came with the unit after all. Also, when we inquired about a late checkout (we took a redeye home) they were not helpful and didn't even offer us the option to pay for it.

  In 2010, by chance, I stayed at the Maui Kaanapali Villas for a few days on an island hop over from Waikiki. I have travelled both islands in the past several times but upon my return I was very interested in renting a condo at this resort. Family visited at various times during the month. In all, we thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, the weather, the location near all amenities and on the beach walk every day at 0730 in each direction! The condo was so inviting, comfortable furniture, chic decor, kitchen well supplied and top notch cleaning service. It soon became my home away from home. We met the owners and their friendliness was greatly appreciated. I am so impressed with the experience as well as my grown children suggesting 'every day' I consider a purchase of a condo at this resort. I am thinking about it! Mahalo and see you next year.

  We've been going to Hawaii since the 1980's, usually to Maui. This place has been the best by far (vs hotels and other condos we've stayed at). The decor inside this condo is first class and it is laid out very well, and the view is perfect! Also, we felt very safe in this area. We liked the laid back atmosphere and peace and quiet of this little piece of heaven. We will be going back.

  We have stayed in this condo many times and find it to be the "best"! Great layout, fantastic location and view and we really appreciate the fabulous updates to the kitchen and bathroom. Very clean and well maintained. Love it! We will be back! Joan and Gary, BC Canada
