This Charleston-style House has it all! New finished in March of 2006. Flat Screen TV’s and DVD players in almost every room, upscale furnishings, private pool, and even an elevator that goes to all three floors.
This lavish house overlooking a picturesque pond boasts its own small private pool perfect for short dips, lounging and having a drink, playing with the kids, or just cleaning the kids off before going inside. Each room has its own Flat Screen TV/DVD Player. The house has speakers throughout that can play music from CDs or from the many music channels thru TV.
The den is a great place to spend time with the family with its comfortable seating and large 50 inch Sony DLP flat screen television w/ an Incrediable Suround Sound system built overtop of the mantel of a large gas fireplace. The kitchen area has a large 8 person table with lavish wood and leather chairs. There are also 4 bar seats for additional seating.
Travertine marble throughout the great room and the entire first floor as well as all baths and even the laundry. Trey ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms and a coffered ceiling in the master on the first floor along with high ceilings and crown molding add another dimension of luxury. Also note that the kitchen and all baths have granite countertops. The overall decorating theme is the British West Indies look supporting a description of traditional elegance.
This house is also handicap accessible with its own private elevator that goes to all three floors. This is truly a house that the whole family can enjoy.
The kitchen is state of the art with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and all the amenities that we have come to love and expect.
Outside there is a heated pool* at the edge of the pond, large gas grill and outdoor shower. The pool is what is considered a "dipping" pool. It measures about 19' x 9' in the shape of a kidney. The pool has been a huge hit every time we have visited the house!
The beauty and comfort of this home should contribute to making this a wonderful vacation to Hilton Head Island.
*Pool heated upon request at an additional charge. The charge is very very steep at $100.00 per day. I'm sorry, but this is what they charge us to come and turn the gas on, refill the propane tank, and turn it off when you are done. Once again I am sorry for the steep charge.
** A beach shuttle will run from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 9AM to 5PM Sunday through Friday. It will NOT run on Saturday at any time. The house has a Walky Talky to call the shuttle (which sit just outside of our house each day and is ready to take you almost anytime you walk out the door) and then you just call the shuttle again when you are ready to come back from the beach. The driver is very friendly and loves to accommodate you in any way he can.

Our first family vacation to the ocean was made spectacular since we stayed in this beautiful home with more amentaties than excepted. Had a blast playing at the pool and the pond. The driver made it very convenient to get to the beach with our belongings, though the walk was not long at all. Thank you for allowing us this memory in your home.

We stayed at your beautiful home for a week in August '08. I have to say what an absolutely wonderful experience we had. This was our first trip back to Hilton Head with our son (who's 2 1/2) and he loved every minute of the vacation. I think his favorite part of the house was the elevator. The house was in perfect condition and was just right for our family get-a-way. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with my family. It will always be a place we will remember!!!

Four Stars! This is a gracious, well appointed home and maintained home. It had all the comforts of home and then some (elevator). I enjoy cooking and dining so I especially appreciated that the kitchen utensils and dinner ware were good quality items, not the light weight stuff you normally find in rentals. Oh and the grill - well it would make grill meisters proud. The only thing missing is a whirlpool bath but the master shower was a fine substitute. We stayed here during the Spring when there was no shuttle service and the ride to the beach was a breeze (less than 5 mins. P.S. If you are a 1st timer you should know that bikes are a necessity to enjoy HHI). Chaplin park across the street. It had basket ball courts, tennis courts, soccer field and a sizeable playground. We liked that this area was away from the crowded resorts. We would definitely stay here again. In fact we are considering purchasing one of these homes. The owner is a pleasant fellow.

A beautiful home! We had a blast here. Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool was great to have to ourselves and the men were especially impressed with the grill. The beach is a little walk but the shuttle service was perfect. I would definitely stay here again!
