We stayed at Casa Suenos for 5 nights just before Thanksgiving. We rented the second level 2 BR living quarters which easily acomodated the two couples in our group. The Casa was in perfect condition with full kitchen, dining area, living room, two nice size BR, and very ample shared bath. One BR also has a single bed which would be perfect for a 5th person and could easily be moved to the living room if need be. There is a nice sized deck area that can be opened up to the rest of the house by opening up the french doors. It is a perfect spot to begin and end your day at. The Casa is in a great location between the beach and town square. One block to either one. They also provide beach chairs, towels, and a cooler that you can take to the beach. If you need any help or have questions, there is a friendly long term renter in the main floor unit as well as a Canadian man down the road that cares for the property when the owner is away. The owner is also easily available via phone and email and is very responsive. I would fully recomend Casa Suenos to anyone looking for top not accomodations at a very fair price.
Owner response:Thank you for the review and vote of confidence. We appreciate these reviews so future guests are assisted in making decisions from real experience rather than just owner's view. The share bath referenced means one bathroom in a two bedroom house--not shared with anyone else outside your own private casa. Hope you'll come again.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit on the second floor. A wonderful place to stay- clean and close to beach and square. Everything that is featured in the listing is there. We stayed during Día de los Muertos and so the square was a bit noisy, but with the windows shut and the AC going to get to sleep- all was good. Put in your consideration set for staying at Sayulita.

This house is everything it claims to be. 100 steps to the BEST part of Sayulita beach. Close to town and all it has to offer. Our kids loved sitting on the balcony people watching and loved the fact that the Iguana sanctuary was just half-way down the block. They made friends with the iguanas and the staff who made them shave ice. The beach chairs and umbrella were easy to take to the beach, which meant that we could be wherever we wanted and not pay to rent chairs. We're already looking to find out when we can return. Wonderful vacation - wonderful house.
Owner response:We appreciate such reviews so future guests can get an insight to what their experience might be. Plus, when these guests return, they qualify for returning guest discount.

We just returned from a wonderful week in Sayulita and beautiful Suenos del Mar. Cecile and Bobbi were both very helpful and fun to talk with. The house is perfect.....we loved being able to open all the doors and windows and listen to the surf or sit on the patio. It's a great place and we hope to return soon.

We just got back last night from Sayulita. Everyone had a sensational time! I can’t get over the decoration and artwork in the apartment. (I am a painter and illustrator.) One of Jerry’s (my husband) favorite things during the trip was the outdoor shower, surrounded by tropical foliage. We all loved that, actually. We occupied the second floor and the penthouse - two of our adult children, their spouses and our ten-year-old granddaughter. I’m sure you’ve heard all good things about your house before, so I won’t go on. We wandered around the town in small groups and together, loving the surf, the food, and the shops, and the very kind residents. We also enjoyed chatting with Bobbi downstairs.

100% Paradise!!! Suenos del Mar is PERFECTO! The home is gorgeous, clean, comfortable and a perfect location!! 1-2 blocks from everything!!! Beds are comfortable and clean, bathrooms are spacious and beautiful! All of the comforts of home on vacation! This is definitely THE place! Coordination with owner is professional and legitimate! No worries here! We are a family with 2 children and had a wonderful time. We had to leave a different home in Sayulita unexpectedly due to no running water. Cecile and her beautiful home were an answer to our prayers!!! You will not be disappointed by this gorgeous home and perfect location! Have fun in Sayulita!

Cecile, your home in Sayulita is absolutely beautiful. My family members that stayed there enjoyed it so much. It was amazingly decorated, clean, and oh so convenient. It was by far the nicest place that anyone in the wedding party rented. We loved Sayulita and hope to return in the not too distant future.

Casa Suenos del Mar was AWESOME! The photos do not do it justice. We stayed on the 2nd floor unit. It is one block walk from the best beach in Sayulita as well as one block from the town square. You cannot get better accomodations for the convenience and the price.

WHAT'S THE WORD FOR PARADISE IN SPANISH? LET'S JUST PUT IT THIS WAY...WE BOOKED OUR SECOND TRIP TO SUENOS DEL MAR/SAYULITA ABOUT 15-MINUTES AFTER WE ARRIVED ON OUR FIRST VISIT SPARKLING SEAS, DREAMY SUNSETS, FRIENDLY PEOPLE, FABULOUS FRESH MEXICAN FOOD...IT'S ALL THERE. PLUS, LOTS OF ACTIVIITES TO KEEP ALL AGE GROUPS BUSY...OR, NOT SO BUSY IF THAT'S THE CHOICE. WE BROUGHT OUR TEENAGERS, 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER AND 15-YEAR-OLD GIRLFRIEND. THEY FELL IN LOVE WITH BOTH SUENOS DEL MAR AND SAYULITA. SURFING, SWIMMING, SHOPPING, HORSEBACK RIDING AND FISHING TOOK UP THEIR DAYS. AND, I FELT THE SMALL, FAMILY FEEL OF THE TOWN PROVIDED A SAFE HAVEN TO ALLOW THEM SOME INDEPENDENT TIME. MY HUSBAND AND I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED JUST THE OPPOSITE SOMETIMES-RELAXING/READING TIME ON THE BEAUTIFUL BALCONY GAZING OUT AT THE OCEAN. SUENOS DEL MAR & AND SAYULITA ARE TRUE GEMS. WE'RE COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS UNTIL WE RETURN AFTER CHRISTMAS!

SUENOS DEL MAR IN SAYULITA IS TRUE PARADISE. GENTLE BREEZES, SPARKLING SEA, FRIENDLY PEOPLE, FABULOUS FOOD. JUST 15-MINUTES INTO OUR FIRST VISIT WE DECIDED TO BOOK OUR SECOND VISIT! WE STAYED ON THE SECOND FLOOR WITH OUR 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER AND HER FRIEND. WE FOUND PLENTY OF SPACE AND PRIVACY. THE BALCONY BECAME THE FAVORITE HANG-OUT TO GAZE AT THE OCEAN AND CATCH UP ON READING. IN ADDITION TO THE LOVELY PEOPLE, WONDERFUL NATIVE FOOD, GREAT SHOPS AND SWIMMING & FISHING & HORSEBACK RIDING, SAYULITA SEEMS TO BE A SAFE PLACE TO VISIT. WE FOUND A COMFORT LEVEL IN LETTING THE GIRLS SPEND SOME TIME AT THE BEACH AND IN TOWN ON THEIR OWN. THAT'S SOMETHING WE'RE RELUCTANT TO LET THEM DO IN MANY U.S. AND CARIBBEAN DESTINATIONS BECAUSE SAFETY CONCERNS. ON A FIVE-STAR SCALE, SUENOS DEL MAR AND SAYULITA GET A TEN-STAR RATING FROM US.
