Nestled amid the pines, 6300 feet up in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona and located in the Torreon Resort area, this great cabin is just 5 minutes from Show Low. This 1600 square foot cabin can accommodate 10 people (6 adults, 4 children) comfortably, with 1 master suite with a king-size bed, 1 guest room with queen bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed and trundle for 4 kids, one double sofabed in the "great room."
The "Great Room" truly is great in size with lots of seating. The cabin also has a large 2-car garage, indoor laundry area, dining area, breakfast bar, a fully-equipped kitchen, a second bathroom, a fireplace and entertainment center with cable TV, DVD and CD player with inside and outside speakers, and two outside decks, one with a gas bar-b-que.
We furnish a starter supply of sundries (paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, soap etc). All you need to do is bring your clothes and toiletries, your food (if you like to cook in our fully-equipped kitchen), an interesting novel (if you love to read), your favorite CD's & DVD's (if you just like to listen to music or watch an old movie) and most of all, bring your willingness to relax and enjoy this beautiful cabin and the gorgeous surroundings of the Torreon Resort & the nearby towns of Show Low, Lakeside & Pinetop.
If you are more into outdoor activities, this is the place for you! In the summer there is golfing, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, swimming, biking, tennis, wildlife viewing, sightseeing -all within a few minutes away. In the winter there is skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing less than an hour away. Year-round, you can enjoy antique shopping, eating at various types of restaurants, gambling at the Hondah Casino or just plain kicking back and doing NOTHING! For those who feel that they must work or must be "connected," there is free WiFi.

For two couples looking to get away for a few days around the Christmas holiday, this property provided us with the perfect combination of a cabin in the woods with all the comforts of home. While Mother Nature didn't provide us with the snow we all wanted to see, the cabin had everything we needed to relax and spend time with friends. We're all looking forward to doing it again next year! And it would even make a great summer getaway from the Arizona heat.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The cabin is immaculate! The pictures of it do little justice. Like the web page says, all you really need to bring is your food. The neighborhood was very quiet, clean, and private. All appliances, electronics, and furnishings are modern and just shy of brand new. All rooms are spacious and all beds are almost too comfortable. You are less than five minutes from shopping, dining, entertainment, a beautiful lake.... Our stay not only was a great experience, it was a bargain for the price. We will definitely be back soon!
