  We stayed in condo 1705 and we had a great vacation. Overall clean and well maintained. Had a few small issues arise but Vince and Peter made sure things were taken care of. Pool area could be bigger for a complex this size, but if you go for supper early many times we had the pool to ourselves. We had a group of ten (6 adults and 4 kids) and the bedrooms worked out real well. Hair driers in all bathrooms would be nice and none of the keys we tried to use for the restrooms at the pool worked for some reason, but it wasn't a big deal. Easy access to complex, places to eat and the Ocean! Great trip and would stay here again!

  We had the most wonderful time at this condo. We stayed for a week and we were blending two families, mine with a 17 year old and her boyfriend and hers with an 18 year old and her boyfriend and a 22 year old with her boyfriend. The views are amazing and it was the cleanest condo I have every stayed in at Myrtle Beach. The location was great because the kids could walk to downtown OD and it was very easy to get around to other attractions as well. Peter was amazing witht he hekp he provided in renting us the unit and everything he said was done as he said it would be. We will definetly be back.

  every thing about the ASHWORTH was what you described and then some My wife and daughters ( 4 grandchildren) had one of the best vacation ever .The unit was very clean . even my wife said so. Every thing worked all appliances t.v. etc. .The poole area was keept clean as well as the picnic area IT IS MY HOPE TO COME BACK TO YOUR UNIT IN 2012 hope you had a happy new year WAYNE HYPES

  My family stayed at the Ashworth the end of June. It was perfect! My husband, myself, our 3 kids as well as my brother and his family and my mother all enjoyed the condo very much. It was actually roomier than the pictures show. We had enough space for all of us and then some. The view was amazing! It is wonderful for children. There are many pools to choose from and the beach and ocean only steps away. We were surprised to find a small carnival just a block away from our condo which the whole family enjoyed. We have no complaints at all. When we return to Myrtle Beach someday, we will definitely be staying at the Ashworth again. Thank you for a wonderful, stress free vacation.

  The condo is laid out very nice, if you have company they have their privacy. We love the location just off Main St, & yet it is very peaceful. The people that you have to deal with concerning the condo are the best ever :)....We stayed in the winter months....

  I stay at The Ashworth Condo for 1 week in May , the Condo is very Nice and Clean, The Property (Building & Grounds) is very well kept, probably the Best I have seen in Myrtle Beach....I have been renting Condos for a while in Myrtle Beach, The area is not crowded as Down Town Myrtle Beach..... Listing were accurate as it was in a Good Location to walk to Restaurants , Shag Clubs Fat Harolds & Ducks . Peter was easy to work with and had all the Answers to my Questions, will recommend to my Friends and hope to Visit again......

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

  The listing was very acurate The space was great The kitchen had some very nice extras Crockpot, Electric frying pan. Juicer, All the conviences of home We were here for the month of Nov. 2010 Just the two of us We had friends and family in and out all month What a great place to do some meshing with old buds A fun time was had by all. Oh yes I should mention the 2nd week of Nov is Beach Music Week We were able to walk to all the music and dancing great for people over 40 good croud and even better music.. We only used the car to go to the great IGA located about 3 miles down Ocean Blvd They even cooked our Thangiving turkey while we wre on our boat watching the dolfins jump and play in the ocean.The minus were needs new carpet and the living room furniture sits a little low for older people like me. We had a great month Would recomend this unit anyday Thanks Peter Nona and Wayne

  I traveled with three longtime friends to North Myrtle Beach during the second week of September. We stayed at 1705 Ashworth and found this beautiful condo to be perfect for our needs. With four bedrooms and three baths, we had plenty of privacy and space. I was concerned about being on the seventeenth floor; but as soon as we saw that gorgeous view from the balcony, we were hooked on this location. The kitchen has most anything you might need. The family pictures and pretty beach-themed artwork/decor throughout the condo made us feel right at home. The less-populated location of this building was definitely a plus because the beach and surrounding area were never overly crowded. The Ashworth has three pools - indoor, outdoor, and children's - as well as a spa and lazy river. The pools aren't large, but are carefully maintained. They were sparkling clean and certainly enjoyed by all in my group. There is a well-kept picnic area with grills and tables. Also, there are four elevators which are surprisingly fast. We had very short waits, if at all. Peter Cole is in charge of renting the condo for the owners and his good communication was a definite factor in our choice of Ashworth 1705. He answered the many questions I sent his way, and even had a TV put in the one bedroom that didn't have one previously. Now all bedrooms have TVs. All in all, we had a great week and would certainly be happy to stay there again.

  We stayed a week over Easter and had a really good time. The location is convenient to lots of stuff, the condo has a great view and had virtually everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. The description is accurate, and we thought it was a really good value for money. We'd stay again if we returned to Myrtle Beach and needed a place the same size.

  I just wanted to tell you again how perfect this unit was for our vacation!! Our GPS originally took us to Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach and I was panicking because of the sheer number of people...only to find out that we weren't at The Ashworth on Ocean Boulevard in NORTH Myrtle Beach. I loved the location, the ocean front balcony, the parking garage, the weather, the sun and sand....Georgio's Pizza, the ice cream shop next door....Walmart less than a mile away...it was hands down the best we've ever had! We'd love to make it a two week stay next time :) Thank you again!

  Although we had travelled to Myrtle Beach (for golf) in past years, this was our first time trying private rental accommodation and what a pleasant surprise! The value for money is unbeatable! We spent a terrific week at 1705 Ashworth in early November/08. We were not disappointed in the least. Unit was exactly as advertized: clean, spacious, well appointed, well stocked and well maintained. The balcony was great - our group of 4 ate several suppers overlooking the ocean as the sun went down. The bbq grilles on site were well used - as was the hot tub (which is really well designed - 3 alcoves allowing privacy for several groups at once). Direct beach access, secure covered parking, no problems with elevators, security, great location, all in all - just a fantastic time. And Peter Cole made everything SO easy. We're already looking forward to next year's trip.

  We stayed at the Ashworth the week of 9/6/08. Our only problem was avoiding hurricane "Hanna" as she roared to the shore the night before our arrival! But, all prevailed, she missed Myrtle Beach and we had a wonderful vacation. We had a total of 3 couples in the condo and I must say having separate bed and bathrooms was a big plus. This condo is very roomy, accomodating and best of all...the beds were really comfortable! The view from the balcony was wonderful and we spent each night sitting out there talking and enjoying life. The convenience to everything was really nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit; highly recommend it and will most definitely visit again!

  We rented the end of July 2008 for 2 weeks. The Ashworth was like a home away from home. The condo was very accommodating and a great value for the price. We will definitely consider it again when we visit North Myrle Beach.

  We rented 6/7 to 6/14 this summer and this was our third year renting this same condo. We absolutely love everything about the condo. It is DEFINITLEY the cheapest but the nicest and most well stocked condo we have rented. We have already reserved our 2 weeks for next summer and can't wait to come back!

  NOVEMBER 21, 2007 OUR STAY IN THE CONDO WAS EVERYTHING PETER COLE SAID IT WOULD BE. WE PREPARED THANKSGIVING DINNER AT THE CONDO WITHOUT HAVING TO BUY ANY ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO COOK WITH.   We have been vacationing to the Myrtle Beach area since 1986 and this is the nicest oceanfront property we have stayed at. This condo is very clean and comfortable. The elevators work great. The hottub is huge and is easy to get into and out of (for those who might have knee problems or such). Peter Cole the rental agent is a delight to work with. The beach is nice and wide. We have reserved a week for 2008. Definately give this condo a try. We were very pleased.

  We were very pleased with every aspect of this rental beginning with Peter Cole's prompt response when we inquired about the condo. He is also very interested in making sure that we are satisfied and, if not, how can they make changes to address our concerns. I've never had such a positive experience when renting a condo. We have this property reserved for three weeks in 2008. That says more about it than anything I can say here.

  I really have nothing else to say. The comments you read here are dead on. This condo was fantastic, very clean, very big, and in great condition. A perfect location, perfect condo.   Exceptional value and lived up to all that was promised. To find four bedrooms oceanfront with three baths for those rates. The surprise was in the area...so many restaurants, shops, clubs, etc. it was like being in a small beach town!!! Would definitely stay again.

  We rented from March 4 to March 16 and enjoyed the experience. Peter had everything organized as agreed upon. The condominium was very clean and well equipped. Did not see France but did see Portugal!!! just kidding Do not hesitate in renting, Peter is excellent when dealing with people. Fat Harolds around the corner a great place to shag.Try the Irish Pub around the corner on Main St. Carrabas for Italian food, Bonefish on 17, Cagney's on 17, Oscars for burgers on 17 and Drunken Jacks Murrels inlet and House of Blues at barefoot landing. Meet the beach crowd at Oscar's on the Ocean north of Ashworth. Enjoy!!!

  The worst thing about this condo is having to leave it to come home. When you wake up in the master bedroom and the first site is the sun coming up over the ocean, you realize that life doesn't get much better. The condo is clean, the view is wonderful and everything you need is furnished. We can't wait to go back !

  Last year, I went online to find a place to stay in Myrtle Beach for my family of ten. Since we had never been there before, I checked out a lot of places. I found the ad for Ashworth, 1705 and what interested me was the way it was advertised. It talked about how clean the rental would be when you arrived and what to do if it didn't meet your expectations. The rental was in the price range we could afford compared to so many others I found. The rental property was everything as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to get back in 2007. Although we didn't see France, we probably could have if the days hadn't been so hazy!

  Our family has had many years of vacations at the beach, but this unit was the nicest we'd ever stayed in. We have plans to return next year. The view is awesome and the condo didn't lack in anything that we needed.

  I have never rented directly before. I have always went through a rental company. Needless to say, I only imagined the worst scenarios. You know, pictures look great, but we get there and the place is a dump. What a mistake! The pictures did not do the condo justice. It was so beautiful! Even better than the pictures had shown. It was clean and what a view. Peter Cole made it a simple and easy process, no hassle! I would put him against any realtor or realty company anyday. He truly cares about your happiness. I had 6,000 questions (ha ha) and he answered them all and still acted like I was no bother. This was the best vacation to North Myrtle Beach we have ever had. And the first without the dreaded check in, check out process. I cannot say enough about Peter and this condo.

  Thinking of renting this condo? If you don't, it will be one of the biggest mistakes of your vacation! Condo is awesome and huge! If you have a lot of people going - this is the place to have. Large Kitchen, lots of seating, 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths make plenty of room for everyone. Convenient to the elevator and the view is to die for! We especially appreciate that the owners allowed us to bring our dog. I can't think of staying at any other condo when we return. Peter was wonderful to deal with, and I was so appreciative of the 'no checkin, no checkout' process. That saved a lot of headaches! I could go on and on - but I think you catch my drift. This place is excellent!

  We rented this condo the week of 9/30/06. This was my first experience renting direct from the owner; It was great! No checkin hassles. The condo was immaculate and equipped with everything you could possibly need or want in a rental unit. Parking was never an issue and unlike many condos I have stayed in before, the elevators were fast and never crowded. Peter was great to work with and even added the recliner I asked for when he emailed everyone for suggestions before the season began. This was the best location and the view was unbelievable; We will definitely be back next year!

  In the Greater Myrtle Beach Area there are literally hundreds of four bedroom, oceanfront condos. You will certainly be on your way to being driven crazy if you read about them all. Owners in their write-ups certainly want you to think theirs is the best. I would rather leave that task to our past guests. They once walked in your very shoes. Three factors separate us from all the other condos: 1)We are the cleanest. 2)Best equipped. 3)Lowest priced. Come see for yourself.

  We stayed in this unit Easter week of this year(2006). We were really nervous about renting a place sight unseen over the Internet. We have numerous timeshare weeks and belong to RCI so we usually exchange for condos using this method (but there were not any we liked availiable Easter week). We had family with us so we really did not want to disappoint them by staying at a "crummy" place. This place was fantastic! Even now we're not sure we should be writing this review because we don't want it to become difficult to get into if the word spreads! This condo is spacious, clean/neat and very well equipped. We are dog lovers and owners -- we weren't planning on taking our dog and unfortunately she passed away a week before our trip at age 6 from sudden onset of leukemia. This put a real damper on the trip but everything else was perfect. We loved everything about this place and could go on and on but we'll try to highlight just a few things: 1. The patio is HUGE. We could easily fit our party of 6 without feeling at all cramped. Nice sturdy patio furniture and the bar type set was cool too. My wife brought along her QVC battery operated candles and we always enjoyed a glass of wine out there in the evenings without the worry of forgeting to blow out a lit candle. 2. Having beach chairs and loungers in the unit to take down to the beach was thoughtful. Actually we rented some too but would not do that again. We would bring along a beach or market umbrella and save the extra hundred for another dinner at Landry's! It's great that the management asks for suggestions (encourages even!). This would be our number one suggestion--- to purchase a portable market or beach umbrella and include that along with the chairs. They are not too expensive and last quite a long time. I think this would be really useful and appreciated by your renters. 3. Do NOT hesitate to rent this place because it's listed as pet friendly.I bet this turns a lot of people off. Remember... this place is IMMACULATE. Anyways, studes prove that most people who travel with thier pets are from higher socio-economic and educational backgrounds and most of these pet owners are meticulous abot thier pets and housekeeping in general. 4. Remember -- 3 bathrooms! It also has every kitchen gadget you would possibly need and not only that they are of good quality! And the price per week? It's a BARGAIN people.   We had several family members (kids and adults) meet at the condo in Myrtle Beach for the week fo the Fourth of July and everyone LOVED it! Extremely well-stocked with kitchen supplies, etc, beautifully furnished, seating for everyone without feeling crowded and this place was clean, clean, clean!! We can't think of anything lacking...I loved the fact that the owners asked for suggestions for needed items even before our arrival...the price was unbeatable and Peter was so easy to work with - I would highly recommend this condo to all (except for the week we want to go back, that is!)

  This condo is not only great it is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! First off it is well stocked,lots of room, and last but not least very clean. We have a family pet that travels with us and even she acted as if she was at home. As long as we go to North Myrtle Beach we hope to rent this condo it feels like a home away from home. We had a wonderful vacation and it was because we found this wonderful condo.

  This unit was just as advertised and more.. We had the whole family their including the grandparents. We had no problems when we arrived, we received the keys ahead of time and there was no check in or check out and I received my deposit back within a few days. The unit is very nice, clean and modern with everything you would ever need. It was very nice to have been provided with the beach umbrella and chairs - saved us a lot of money. There are no negatives about the unit, the only thing that could have been better was to have a larger swimming pool.

My wife brought along her QVC battery operated candles and we always enjoyed a glass of wine out there in the evenings without the worry of forgeting to blow out a lit candle. 2. Having beach chairs and loungers in the unit to take down to the beach was thoughtful. Actually we rented some too but would not do that again. We would bring along a beach or market umbrella and save the extra hundred for another dinner at Landry's! It's great that the management asks for suggestions (encourages even!). This would be our number one suggestion--- to purchase a portable market or beach umbrella and include that along with the chairs. They are not too expensive and last quite a long time. I think this would be really useful and appreciated by your renters. 3. Do NOT hesitate to rent this place because it's listed as pet friendly.I bet this turns a lot of people off. Remember... this place is IMMACULATE. Anyways, studes prove that most people who travel with thier pets are from higher socio-economic and educational backgrounds and most of these pet owners are meticulous abot thier pets and housekeeping in general. 4. Remember -- 3 bathrooms! It also has every kitchen gadget you would possibly need and not only that they are of good quality! And the price per week? It's a BARGAIN people. Thank you to the owners and to Pete who was helpful and easy to deal with. Sorry we didn't take the time to initially enter these comments in the guest book . It certainly wasn't because we didn't like the place -- we were just having too much fun!

  This is a great condo with a lot of space. It is well equiped and well furnished. It has an outstanding view of the ocean throught the day. We had a great time and planning to go back again.

  What a fantastic condo! The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The condo was very spacious and was the most well stocked condo we have stayed in. We will definitely be back!
