Tamarind Villa offers views from two sides and the pool deck of Leverick Bay in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. This beautifully furnished three bedroom Moroccan-style villa is only a short walk from the beach, restaurants, dive shop, boat rentals, tennis, boutiques, spa and grocery at nearby Leverick Bay Resort.
An island stone patio and wood deck surrounds the oval fresh water pool overlooking Leverick Bay North Sound and the Sir Frances Drake Channel. A barbeque grill, lounge chairs, pool floaters and a covered dining table and chairs are provided.
Tamarind's Moroccan-style arches frame the North Sound on large covered patios bordering two sides of the villa.
The spacious Great Room includes living, dining, and kitchen areas under a natural beamed cathedral ceiling. Cooling trade winds flow throughout the villa, augmented by ceiling fans in every room.
The Formal Dining Area looks across the large curved living area sofa with views of Leverick Bay on two sides. The room has cable TV, DVD, CD Stereo (w/ iPod hookup).
The Kitchen is defined by a surround bar formed of island stone and includes dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all the dishes and utensils necessary to prepare the finest dinner and cocktail parties while enjoying views of the pool and the Sound. A washer, dryer and linens are included.
The Master Bedroom overlooks the Sound from a private patio and includes its own king-size bed, private bath, walk-in closet and dual armoire.
The Guest Room has its own private patio with views of Leverick Bay. It is furnished with Queen bed, reading chair, dresser, closet and cozy corner desk.
The 2nd Guest room has bunk beds for kids and a dresser.

I spent 6 days at Tamarind Villa in December and can't wait to go back. I arrived on a rainy & windy day, and it was great to have such a beautiful view across North Sound. The house was well stocked--from snorkeling gear and ample cooking equipment in the kitchen to extra towels for the pool, Jim and Theresa really have made this a comfortable home away from home. Put me down for another week, STAT!

Jim & Theresa, It's been just about a week since we left, and wish we hadn't had to return to Iowa! It's taken us quite a bit of time to adjust to being back home, because we just didn't want to come back! Even so, here we are, again wishing we were still 'there'! We still marvel at how we 'found' Tamarind Villa, and that we so much enjoyed our stay, our accommodations, the relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, just everything! The time of year was nothing less than perfect while we were there! There's so much to see and do and, while we pretty much were without any kind of a schedule, it suited us just fine! Special thanks to your villa manager, Tina, she was wonderful to meet us at the ferry, and give us a tour of the house. She was very efficient and personable, so very much appreciated by both of us! We very much hope we'll stay for more than a week next time! You have an absolutely wonderful place anyone would be insane not to enjoy! We just want you both to know how much we enjoyed our too-short week -- and all the comforts your island home afforded us! Much appreciation Jane and Jerry Stroud
