What a wonderful place to get away. Our family couldn't have been happier with the accomodations, location, and personalized touches that were provided. The cabin was more than comfortable for our family of 6. The scenery was beautiful. Thank your a wonderful experience.

We loved our week at the lake. Great place to unwind. The owners were very friendly, accommodating, and efficient. We made day trips to Whiteface, Montreal, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm and kayaked on the lake. Kids (9 & 11) enjoyed the inflatable pod.

Everything was wonderful. We were looking for a quiet week to relax and have fun. This was the perfect place for it. We stayed around the house most of the week and enjoyed the lake. Our girls loved playing in the lake and taking canoe rides. We would recommend this rental for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

We had a wonderful vacation at Adirondack Auberge. The cabin is very comfortable and the view of the lake with the sunsets was breathtaking. My family of 5 was very comfortable, from my husband and I all the way down to our newborn baby. The cabin has all of the necessities and more. Our boys loved all of the toys and movie collection, we really didn't need to bring anything from home to keep them occupied. We had a great time and would love to stay again next year.

My family has stayed at Adirondack Auberge 2 summers in a row, '09 and '10. We found the property very clean and well maintained. It is very well stocked with the extraes that make a week by a beautiful lake wonderful. We appreciate the homey touch throughout the cottage that made it very welcoming. The owner was very helpful with all our questions before and during our visits. I highly recommend this rental house to anyone. The proximity to the lake is fantastic and the lawn around the cottage was great for evening barbecues and outdoor meals. Thank you for a great vacation !!

The cabin was beautifully decorated and included every amenity. The lakes were breathtaking, we enjoyed boating, fishing and swimming during our stay. Simply sitting on the patio and taking in the view was a pleasure. Great golf at the Malone golf course, the Hollywood Inn on the lake for a nice night out, but the best dinner we had was the pike we caught!! Highly recommend, and we have already rebooked for next year!

My husband, 2 yr. old daughter and I spent a long weekend at the Adirondack Auberge and it felt like a 'home away from home'. The accommodations are comfortable and not lacking anything. You can enjoy lake views from inside as well as out. There's plenty to see in the area if you want to venture out. We took a day trip to High Falls Gorge and Lake Placid. Would love to return sometime next year!

Our family (2 couples in their 30's each traveling w/ a 1yr old) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very nice log cabin. The owners: from the beginning, their hospitality was top notch. They talked to me on the phone and exchanged emails promptly responding to my questions. We were also impressed with their integrity when they pointed out that one of the amenities of staying there would be missing and offered us a discount. The house: as cabins out in the woods go, it was very clean and well-maintained. My husband and brother-in-law enjoyed taking the canoe out on the water and fishing. My sister and I read the Readers Digests provided and our 1yr old daughters enjoyed the video collection. The decor and furniture is a little old and rustic, but you shouldn't expect the Ritz when staying in a cabin I suppose. The old-fashioned door handles are tricky and sticky and the living room layout was a little odd for us (we had to rearrange it since none of the couches were facing the tv); but, those are our only suggestions. The view of the water is stunning and the back yard area with picnic table and chairs that look out on the water is a great asset. The house is also set back from the road so it seems very quiet and peaceful. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again.

Hi,Just wanted to thank you for making the cottage available. Very comfortable and quiet. The leaf show was nearly perfect as was the weather. Even the loons were cooperating. We spent most of the time sitting on the sofa and looking out the window. My wife worked on her emails, reports and projects – all without internet access.I read and did crosswords. Thanks for the movies – we had not seen most/all of them them. All in all a perfect 3 days.We vacuumed, did dishes and hopefully left the place as spotless as when we arrived.Great jam – we took the MS home with us unopened. My wife is from western Canada – just north of Montana and that part of North America does not have the color change as in the east – it was her first time to see this spectacular scenery and she was truly amazed. Thanks again.

Hi David - We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Auberge. So much so that we would like you to hold our deposit for an October visit. We are hoping to be there for some prime fall leaf-peeping. We enjoy seeing the photos of your family while we're there and we noticed that you have added some terrific photos to your website. During our stay we took a day trip to Vermont, which included a visit to Ben and Jerry's, as well as a day trip to Quebec. We also went to Lake Placid and drove back home through the Adirondack Park and through Old Forge. The whole trip was super and a much needed break. The weather was perfect and the rain held out until we were about an hour from Buffalo. I couldn't have timed it better.

We stayed at the Auberge in September 2008 and it was absolutely lovely. Aside from relaxing and enjoying the magnificent scenery, peace and quiet of the Auberge itself, we also visited Lake Placid, High Falls Gorge, Vermont, and took a day trip to the zoo in Granby, Quebec. We will be back Memorial Day weekend 2009! Thank you David and Marie Christine!

My husband and I came for a weekend stay and had the best time ever!!! The cabin is very well kept both inside and out. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quite, relaxing getaway. The surrounding towns are quite and welcoming. A short day trip to Montreal was also very nice. We're bringing the whole family for a week in the summer of '08.

David and Marie Christine, I can't express enough how wonderful your home was for our family. It was roomy, clean (even your bedsheets smelled fresh), and the house lacked for nothing. From a well stocked kitchen to the incredible amount of games, movies, magazines and books. Beautiful lake and very nice neighbors, especially the lady with the dogs. We have two teenagers,17 and 19 and believe it or not all we did was play, eat, and sleep. Very restful. Also the security deposit was received in less than a week. Thanks for such hospitality. Just a note to all who stay don't eat at Hollywood- horrible food .

David and Marie Christine: My husband David and I would like to thank you for sharing your home with others. You never know what a house will be like when you rent it but we where very pleased. The camp was clean and comfortable and fully stocked. Everything we could have needed was thought of. The lake is beautiful and so is all of the surrounding area of the adirondack mountains. We had a very relaxing time and plan to come back soon. Karen , New Jersey
