Lake Toxaway offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere and many relaxing activities: golf, boating, hiking, swimming and tennis. Great shopping is located a short distance away in Cashiers, Highlands and Brevard. The Biltmore House in Asheville is a short distance away and Flat Rock Playhouse is only an hour's drive from the lake.
This home has a great room with a fireplace, dining area and a fully furnished kitchen, an upper deck with a stone fireplace, dining table and rocking chairs in which to relax and meditate. On this main level is a master bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath with Jacuzzi tub, another bedroom with a king size bed and another full bath. Upstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, full bath and a bonus room with two trundle beds. There is also a reading loft overlooking the great room where you can curl up with a good book. Downstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, a full bath and a den with a gas fireplace, TV, VCR and DVD player and a sofa sleeper.
Temporary membership at Lake Toxaway Country Club is available for your use. You can enjoy fine dining, golf, swimming and tennis. Also, available for your use is the new Dick Fazio designed Golf Learning Center and a state of the art fitness center, a full service spa and boat rentals. Several large National Parks are within a short distance and hiking trails to beautiful waterfalls are numerous in the area. You may also drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a short distance away.
Lake Toxaway is a wonderful place to relax or enjoy many different activities. The weather is mild in all seasons and you will want to return year after year once you experience the beauty of Moonstone Lodge.
