The Biltmore House in Asheville is a short distance away and Flat Rock Playhouse is only an hour's drive from the lake.
This home has a great room with a fireplace, dining area and a fully furnished kitchen, an upper deck with a stone fireplace, dining table and rocking chairs in which to relax and meditate. On this main level is a master bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath with Jacuzzi tub, another bedroom with a king size bed and another full bath. Upstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, full bath and a bonus room with two trundle beds. There is also a reading loft overlooking the great room where you can curl up with a good book. There is a boat dock and boats may be rented from the Lake Toxaway Marina by the hour, day or week.
Several large National Parks are within a short distance and hiking trails to beautiful waterfalls are numerous in the area. You may also drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, a short distance away.
