Perfect for morning jogging, or long strolls along beach paths. Bike path follows for miles from the town of Marina, CA to Carmel-by-the-Sea and is right outside front door.

We have a service for this if our guests require assistance with this. We are happy to provide our guests with residence access into the 17 Mile Drive during the stay.

This is being translated by the owners son in law, we flew from Munich after a few emails without knowing what our visit to a Real CALIFORNIA BEACH would be like, and it was fantastic. How nice to see that someone with a wonderful front row to the seaside HOME is so nice to share it with total strangers, how lucky we felt to be a part of this guest list. My children were outside every day until sunset, exploring the tidepools and playing in the sand and we reflect now in cold Germany on our sunset days and like to think of this as 'our secret' cabin by the sea in California! We work hard with the dream on makeing it back to this beachouse, thank you for allowing us to come from another country to this remarkable spot. Yan, Gisela and our kinder.

This is incorrect, and anyone who stays at our beach house knows that we are a family helping an elderly Mom after loosing our Dad,who built this home as a beach retreat for his kids. ANY GUEST knows that if there is anything they need it is just a phone call away as we are all local, and we respond. WE HAVE NEVER forced anyone to leave early, ever -- and our lease clearly states the arrival and departure dates, signed by the tenants - and faxed with confirmation, Sad but true, the above party was just looking for a free stay, and extra nights but we were booked solid and that made them angry, and we were releived when they departed.
