This is more than your average rental - this house feels like a HOME.
Just a short 5-8 minute trip to the beach, our incredible, recently renovated beach home at 30 Heath Dr is a fabulous setting for your next getaway! Lounge around our private pool, deck and patio area as you look out onto the 2nd hole of the Fazio Golf Course.
As you enter your new vacation home, you will be amazed by views from our two-story Great Room overlooking the pool and golf course. Everything has been updated. All new furniture, wall and floor coverings, and even new landscaping make this home simply 'Paradise'. Additional updates planned for late fall 2011 and spring 2012.
Our spacious and open living area connects the two-story Great Room with the Dining Room and Kitchen. The Great Room has 2 sofas and a chair, TV, VCR/DVD player, new iHome stereo unit, and a view of the golf course. A loft Bedroom furnished with 2 new twin beds and an entertainment (videos and PlayStation!) area overlooks the Great Room...great area for kids and games!
The house is designed such that the first floor bedrooms are set apart from the living area for noise reduction. There is a total of 4 bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom, and cable TVs with DVD/VCR players. 3 bedrooms are on the main floor and one in the loft. The Master bedroom is spacious with a king bed, entertainment center, and a sitting area. The Master bedroom also has a dressing area and giant walk-in closet. The Master bath has a jacuzzi bath with a separate shower. The two other bedrooms on the main floor are large with multiple closets and they each have a queen bed. The 'Jack and Jill' bathroom has a separate vanity area from the tub and shower.
The Kitchen is spacious with a large eating area and counter bar space. The separate Dining Room overlooks the pool and golf course. In addition, on the main floor is a separate 1/2 bath and laundry room with a new washer and dryer.
This recently renovated home is truly breath-taking, and is perfect for a family vacation. I am sure once you visit, you will come back year after year.

The Unique Benefits at this House
The house is centrally located in HHI's premier plantation - Palmetto Dunes. You can walk or bike to EVERYTHING. The General Store has groceries and sundries. The counter in back serves breakfast/lunch which is reasonably priced and delicious. Enjoy food and drinks at one of 2 close-by ocean-front beach restaurants. For a great night out Alexander's is consistently rated as one of the top restaurants on the island with gourmet food, great desserts and an extensive wine list. Many other great restaurants are less than 10 minutes away by car. Large Piggly Wiggly (grocery store) is 5 minutes away.

We rented the home for 3 weeks in September... Terrific family vacation home! Very spacious(huge kitchen area) with good bedroom separation...the MBR was awesome....pool area was a bit disappointing as to the landscaping,and the size of the pool. However we enjoyed nightly parties outside! Only issue we had was with a 2/3 raccoons that have taken residence under the back deck...no matter what we did to secure the cans, they would get into the garbage every night. Made for a daily mess to clean up. Easy walk to beach but a little far for "little ones"..bring a wagon or stroller for younger kids...All in all, a really nice HH vacation home!

We are going to be doing some upgrades this fall and will look at the pool landscaping per your suggestion. Thanks for your input. New trash cans with securely closing lids have been purchased to keep the critters out!

This house by far exceeded our expectations. The view was outstanding. The rooms were open and very spacious. Master bedroom and bath were much bigger than expected. All the other bedrooms were good size and perfect for a family. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and dishes. All appliances that we looked for were included. The pool was on the smaller size however we noticed all the pools in Hilton Head are smaller. The pool was perfect place to relax, unwind and cool off in. Hilton Head has always been a great family vacation but this house really made our vacation complete. The location in my mind was perfect. A little walk to the beach or to the general store was good exercise. I would definitely book this house again. Some of my suggestions would be to make sure you put the garbage in the cans with the lids on. The garbage was picked up twice in the week. The internet signal was a little weak and at times did not allow us to connect however I believe this has been fixed. If you have family that stay at other properties, you can register them at the drive thru office when you enter the plantation so they can obtain a pass for the week. The beach is easy to reach just cut through one of the hotels. Bike rentals are a definite plus for all members of the family around the plantation. The new owners and the rental agent were very accommodating with any request we made.
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house was great it every way. Great location on the Fazio golf course and just a short walk to the beach. The pool is very nice to lounge in and watch as the golfers go by. You can't go wrong with this house. The pictures do not do this house justice. It far exceeded our expectations in every way. We will be back next year. Thanks for a wonderful week.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
