Quality furnishings, central air conditioning, and premium bed linens provide luxurious comfort. Each bedroom has a private bath. Custom finishes and paintings by local artists enhance the island motif. There is a generous DVD collection and three flat-screen TVs for movie aficionados. Soak in the panoramic view from the lanai; watch the humpback whales breach during whale season. Stretch out on the putting-green lawn, just feet from the shore. For adventuring, you are a few steps to the pool and snorkeling beach. A seven minute walk to the east takes you to the three-mile-long Sugar Beach and wetland sanctuary; a five minute walk to the west takes you to a marina for snorkeling, fishing, and diving excursions. Two blocks away, there is a world class aquarium, and Maalaea Harbor Village, teeming with shops and restaurants. For casual dining, we recommend Beach Bums, or if dressing up is more your style, you can’t beat the Waterfront, a 5-star restaurant right next door to our condo complex. Of course, for those home cooked meals, the kitchen comes fully equipped, with espresso machine, coffee grinder, blender, and more! Aloha!

We reside in western Washington State where we enjoy nature's beauty. This appreciation for nature and beauty gave us an instant love for Maui! Our lives outside of time on Maui include our regular jobs plus our volunteer work with orphansafrica.org. Maalaea Kai on Maui is the perfect contrast to rejuvenate our minds and bodies. We explored the islands over the last several years looking for the place that would be just right for us. We found Maalaea Kai to be just the place. Maui is tropical beauty plus all the amenities we could ever want. Maalaea Kai is centrally located to every part of the island but perfectly private. We love the water sports access that Maui offers as well as dining and shopping. Our Maalaea Kai 305 unit is comfortable, stylish, equipped, and a place we always want to return.

"We loved our visit to the condo. We especially enjoyed the view. We kept the windows open at night to see the palm trees sway, feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves. Loved the palm trees, inside and out! We took our teenage son and he appreciated having his own suite. He also scarfed up the IPOD port for his exclusive use. All the extras made the stay very convenient: the beach towels, the cooler, the beach mats, umbrella--we used it all. What a kitchen - more conveniences than at home with the expresso maker, the juicer, etc. Loved the decor and artwork! The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Having the laundry close by was so nice to wash beach towels. The location of the condo was great as we saw sights in all directions from the condo. It is close to our older son in Kihei and also close to head off to Lahaina. Thank you for the awesome vacation. Can't wait to return!"
