Directly on the Folly River, our top-floor Condo enjoys great views up and down the river and across its extensive marshes. With 3 bedrooms (K,Q,Q, quality portable bed), 3 baths, a large living/dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, you will enjoy relaxing in our well-appointed flat, which was originally upgraded by the building contractor for his own use. Cook in a kitchen equipped by someone who enjoys cooking. Enjoy the convenience of wireless internet access.
From the screened porch during warm weather, hear the snapping shrimp stun their tiny prey with sound waves at low tide in the marsh below. Watch the herons fish during the day and, at dusk, fly to roost in their nearby rookery. See dolphins and boats go by. Depending on the season, cast a net for shrimp, dip a net for crabs, or fish from the condo’s private and deepwater dock. Cool off in the condo pool. Always, enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
Take a short walk (0.6 mile) across the bridge past Folly’s shops and restaurants to the beach where there is a 1000-foot fishing pier with restrooms, showers, parking, snacks, souvenirs, and restaurant. Or drive 15 minutes to the cultural and historic attractions of downtown Charleston. Enjoy world-class Low Country restaurants. Golf at Charleston's many courses, including a good and inexpensive public course, located nearby. Folly Beach also has public tennis courts, a new wonderful playground for kids, and half-courts for basketball. A complete supermarket is w/in 2 miles; fresh seafood market half-mile.

Your condo is lovely, and it is located in a great section. Our granson, [who] turned 17 during our stay, especially enjoyed the fishing pier. We celebrated J's birthday at Bubba Gump's Shrimp House in Charleston. The food and service was excellent. Unfortunately, we picked the hottest week of the year to come to Folly Beach. However, we survived. It would be good to have darker and heavier drapes for the big den window. The heat coming thru that window as tremendous in the afternoon. This, of course, is just a suggestion. We all very much enjoyed our stay. We appreciate the opportunity to be able to rent such a fine place. I especially liked the "use and replace" method on staple items. I brought most everything, but did run into a few situations where I did use some of the items. May God richly bless you and your family.

We enjoyed spending time with our family in your condo. It was nice and spacious for the 6 of us and a baby.Crabbing at the dock was wonderful. We wished we had a nice place outside to cook them or even grill. We went to Charleston and ate at Hyman's. We strongly recommend eating there. A very kid-friendly and great place for seafood. We had a fun time at the beach. Remember to us lots & lots of sunscreen! Thanks for giving us a great place to stay while visiting Folly Beach!

We had a great time here spending time together as a family - watching dolphins, playing games, swimming in the pool, enjoying the space and all of us (five women) loved having THREE BATHROOMS!!! What a luxury! The two youngest women (4&6 years old) loved visiting the James Island Water Park: $5 after 3 PM, $1 per person to enter park - the most. I almost forgot - we loved being so close to the beach and yet having all the advantages of staying on the river. Lots of things to see every day! The girls want me to say again that they loved the water slides. Also were happy to discover the tea plantation - which offers a free, informative tour! Another free activity for children was visiting waterfront park which has fountains and lots of places for picnics in Charleston. The girls also loved telling ghost stories inspired by the history and lure of this area. LOVED all the photos around the condo and thought Kathy (trouble shooter) was a doll. The game closet was a great discovery for us, also. We hope to make this an annual trip. Thanks so much, GA & NC "Meetin' in the Middle"

We had a fantastic holiday - especially enjoyed the warm ocean waters. Your condo made us feel so at home. I almost hate to heave. July 4th celebrations on the beach found us and drew us in, with all the excitement. A historical tour on the Charleston harbour by boat was very informative & fun. As always after eating at Sticky Fingers, we hardly had to eat for an entire day after. For us Northerners, a dream vacation.

We had a really great time at your condo and at Folly Beach! We loved 82 Queen, Poogan's Porch, Boccis, and 11 Centre Street for dinner. (11 Centre is the best restaurant in town in our opinion!) Tommy Condon's is a great place in Charleston to eat lunch. Also, the rooftop bar is a good place for drinks and munchies. It also has a great view of the city and water. The condo is beautiful. We especially loved the views of the river and watching the dolphins swim by. We even thought we saw an alligator!! We enjoyed spending our days at the beach and pool, spending our nights in Charleston, and ending the night at 11 Centre Street, drinking their delicious peach sangria! Must try it. Lost Dog is great for breakfast, and Woody's has amazing pizza! Overall our stay here at Folly Beach was very enjoyable and relaxing! Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. We don't want to leave! Hopefully we'll be able to return to your condo and Folly Beach; it was a welcome change to our New Jery beaches!!
