This spectacular (sleeps 8) custom built home sits on the sand in the beautiful Pierpont Beach area of Ventura. The ocean, with waves perfect for surfing, boogie boarding, or swimming, are just steps from the front door.
Total house renovation was completed in June 2007. A large kitchen is a cooks dream. With all Viking appliances and everything the serious cook is looking.There is plenty of storage and marble countertops throughout the large kitchen space. This kitchen looks out onto the beach, so you can watch the dolphins swim by as you are cooking.
The entire house is furnished in the beautiful and timeless "shabby chic" style making it both comfortable and stylish. Spill into one of the down sofas to read a book or relax on the beach..this will be the last beach house that you will look for!
The upstairs spacious master bedroom furnished with a king-size bed has a large deck perfect for enjoying the view of Channel Islands or watching the sunset. Off the bedroom is a separate large (completely remodeled) master bath/dressing area
Downstairs there are three bedrooms and two more full bathrooms. There is an open floor plan with two living spaces, a dining area plus a kitchen bar for additional seating. The home has cable tv, dvd, stereo system throughout the house including outside patios!
The side patio has plenty of additional "bench seating" for tanning and relaxing. We have a beautiful brand new gas bbq and an outdoor firepit (perfect for late night s'mores!).
There is room for one car in the garage and one more in front of the garage for a total of two cars! We have a utility room with a brand new front load washer and dryer.
Ventura is a short distance from both Ojai and Santa Barbara for easy day trips. The Ventura Marina is close by and offers Whale Watching and trips to the Channel Islands. Downtown Ventura is gaining prominence as an arts tourism destination. With the acclaimed Rubicon Theatre and the many art galleries, antique shops, and fine restaurants, Ventura is a great place to explore.
If you prefer to stay around the beach there are several excellent restaurants within a 3 minute walk on the beach! There is also a supermarket and specialty stores just up the street.
