I moved from CA to Minneapolis a couple years ago, and my sister, brother-in-law, and 3 year old niece came for a visit, having never been to MN before. Our cabin stay was wonderful. The cabin its only 60-75min from Minneapolis. Its very clean and well-maintained, with many amentities, current kitchen appliances, and sleeps 6 comfortably. It has upper and lower decks, and we used the BBQ to grill nightly. The cabin looks out on Grass Lake 50 ft away, and has its own dock. You can drive 10 minutes to Clear Water Lake and find dining spots, fishing/bait shops, and some watercraft rentals. Its also a 10-minute boat trip from the dock through the channel, to go play on Clear Water Lake. We caught fish everywhere, and my niece saw--and then caught--her first fish, right off the dock. We remted a boat for 3 days from a local place, that brings the boat to you. We went to CWLake often, but liked the smaller Grass Lake bettter for waterskiing and tubing, especially with a toddler--she tubed solo (5mph)! Bring floaties or tubes and float aimlessly, just off the dock. We took several short drives to see the surrounding towns, and go to the flea market--its very popular and there was NO parking when we arrived at 930am. We also walked 50yds across the road and used the beach, swings/play area, and pool. Jodi was extremely helpful and patient as we coordinated the trip. This is a great value, and I recommend it for families, small groups, romantic getaways, or even just going solo. I/we plan to stay there again, soon!

We stayed at the cabin in June and just had a great time. My wife "who is a neat freak" just loved how clean and new everything looked. The fishing was great. It was a windy week so it was especially cool that we could ski on Grass Lake which was calm even when Clearwater lake was rough. Great time. Great Cabin.

Our family of 4 spent a week at the cabin in early July. We had a great time. The cabin was very clean. We are usually tent campers so this was a treat to have a kitchen, fridge, air conditioner, and shower / bathtub. Even a satelitte TV. It was fun to be able to sit out on the deck to read or just hang out. We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed the lake. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. We flew in from California to spend a week in the cabin. Because we were from out of state it was important that the cabin was well equipped and it was; EVERYTHING was provided for our stay. Jodi even arranged to have fishing equipment for my son to use during our stay. We spent many hours on the deck overlooking the lake eating, reading and relaxing. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the fire pit was fun for all. We fished off the dock and also rented a fishing boat at B J'S,the local bait shop. The cabin is immaculate. I would definetely return and reccomend the cabin to everyone who appreciates the beauty of Minnesota and its friendly people.

I spent the weekend at Jodi and Erich's cabin for a relaxing, peaceful "ladies getaway". This was one of the best cabins I have ever stayed at. They have everything and I mean everything you can think of there for you. They take great pride in the cabin, it is newly remodeled, IMMACULATE, very fresh and clean throughout. Even the linens smelled spring fresh! We enjoyed the use of the gas grill, and even used it to make our morning bacon instead of smelling up the cabin! Great fire pit to have nightly bonfires. We awoke to the sounds of the Loons in the morning and it was beautiful! Great sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee looking out to the lake. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend this cabin to my friends and family. I was told by other tenants at the resort that this is the NICEST cabin on the lake. Only 75 miles from the Twin Cities. Come check it out - you will truly enjoy yourself.

What a great way to be close to the lake and fish. Best way to camp ever! Bath and shower, airconditioning if you need it, nice kitchen to cook, beats a tent anytime. husband was happy that he could walk out the door and to the dock to fish. I would recommend this vacation A frame.

Our family had a wonderful time at Grass lake staying in Jodi and Erich's cabin. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. We wish we had stayed another night. We have been to the resort three times and this was the best cabin. The weather was perfect and we loved fishing and enjoying the campfire in the evenings. We recommend this cabin to all for a peaceful, relaxing vacation.

We would highly recommend staying at this cabin. It has been beautifully remodeled and has all the comforts of home. We've stayed at this resort before and this is by far the nicest cabin there! We love the pool, having the lake right out our front door and the fishing is always good. We will be coming back next year and staying in Erich & Jodi's home away from home.

What a great place to stay! The cabin is beautiful. It has new wood floors and walls as well as new appliances. The bathroom was clean and bright. We had a great time fishing and tubing on the lakes. Our kids enjoyed the great pool, too. We will definately come back and would recommend it to others.
