Ideal mountain getaway! Huge mountain home with wraparound deck facing west, with awesome views of snow-capped peaks and sunsets. On quiet cul-de-sac, where each home is set on a quiet, wooded 5 acres, secluded and set back off the road, surrounded by evergreen trees and rock outcroppings--yet easy-access to west Denver (10 minutes to Lakewood, CO area, all paved roads and/or highway driving). 45 min. drive from DIA and 15 minutes from Evergreen, CO.
The spacious wrap-around deck faces snow-capped peaks and rolling hills to the west. Doors open from the master bedroom, dining room and living room to the main front deck. Spend hours relaxing in the lounge chairs and swing in the warm Colorado sun, with breathtaking views. Or, if you're game, sleep out under the stars on the chaisse lounges. Serve meals alfresco on the three deck tables. In summer, the back deck is surrounded by flower gardens and man-made stream.
The sunken living room has fabulous vaulted ceilings with paned windows all around, stone gas fireplace, large-screen TV with DVD/VCR/CD and surround sound, brown leather furniture, and a small music area with guitar.
Dining room has a table that seats 8, french doors and paned windows to west-facing deck, stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings open to living room and kitchen, with plenty of countertop room for buffet meals.
Kitchen has eat-in breakfast table that seats 6, a kid-level breakfast bar that seats 3-4, granite countertops, stovetop grill, trash compactor, dishwasher, convection oven, microwave, and all small appliances, dishes & flatware & wine glasses you will need. Back deck has large gas grill for cookouts and table that seats 8-10.
When it's time for bed, there is plenty of room for your party to slumber. The upstairs loft has three themed bedrooms: Bedroom #1 features hand-made log bunkbed and handpainted pine trees on walls, tv/vcr/dvd/computer; Bedroom #2 has jungle decor with flowers handpainted on walls, double bed, with wooden child swing & gazebo; Bedroom #3 has Hey Diddle Diddle theme with handpainted stars on walls, with full bed. Bathroom in loft level has tub/shower & sink.
There are plenty of toys and costumes for your kids' enjoyment. Be sure to check out the extensive children's library in loft with 3 beanbags for reading comfort.
The master bedroom suite on main floor has a king-size sleigh bed with canopy, windows facing west and french doors to south-facing deck, walk-in closet, double sinks, shower, and the deepest tub you've ever soaked in! Also has TV/VCR/DVD/CD player.
Guest room in walk-out basement has two twin beds and bathroom with shower, walk-in closet, and private west-facing covered deck.
Portable crib, toddler bed & high chair available if needed. Ten can sleep comfortably in beds, with additional couch, cot and air mattress space for additional guests.
Ready for entertainment? Choose from over 100 movies to watch on one of the five tv's throughout the house, including a large-screen tv in living room. Or test out your singing voice with the karaoke machine. Enjoy the game room in walk-out basement that has board games, books, ping-pong table, foosball table, darts, poker table, kids' pinball machine and TV/VCR. Outside, you'll discover the 50-foot man-made stream and a treehouse built right into the rock and a children's playhouse, all set on 5 acres of woods to explore. In the winter, get out the sleds and have a go down the hill.
House has white carpet and wood floors throughout, beige walls. Carpets have minor stains. There are two sets of interior stairs and steps from the driveway to the front door. Every wall on main level has one to two six-foot paned windows and/or french doors, making the house very light and bright. We have two outdoor cats who come with the home, who always stay outside and should be fed once a day.
WiFi high-speed internet connection and a computer/printer is available for your business needs. Most cell phones have good coverage at the house. There is no phone other than your own cell phones.
