You have found a great place for a vacation. With a nice condo for your stay. It is on the first floor--ground level--newly-remodeled and a patio with a view of a canal. Just a short walk to the gulf beach.
Bradenton beach offers a slower paced vacation with a small beach town atmosphere, with many cafes on the waters edge, the kind of relaxing vacation that everyone wants but is hard to find. Anna Marie Island has all that and more.
If you have never been to Anna Marie Island, a great way to see the whole island is to get on the free trolley that stops in front of the complex and ride in comfort. Next, pick up the islander newspaper for a list of some great restaurants and things to see and do. Find yourself a great restaurant and enjoy the island. try my favorite; star fish restaurant.
Do not forget to get to the beach for the great sunsets!

We stayed in this very well equipped condo for the month of March, 2010. The furnishings are excellent. After having rented many different condo units over the years, it was so convenient to be on ground level, especially on shopping days and BBQ days. Great heated pool. We would recommend this unit without hesitation.
Recommended for:Age 55+.

We are just getting around to posting our comments as guests at various rentals this year. We stayed at this condo in May 2006 and it was a very positive experience. Runaway Bay is in a great location, the bay with a fishing pier is out back and the Gulf beach across the street. The condo itself is in excellent condition with a lot of extras included. The owners made the renting process a breeze. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
