Enjoy the services of a hotel in the privacy of a lovely villa set in a large tropical garden which leads directly onto Praia do Flamengo, a beautiful, clean, huge expanse of sand, bedecked with palm trees.

We will pick you up from the airport and take you to the villa where Marizete, the housekeeper, will serve you drinks and a welcome dinner. Every morning Marizete prepares you a traditional brazilian breakfast and does all the cleaning. There is a menu for you to order lunch or dinner if you don't want to cook yourself. We can also arrange babysitting and tours for you.

The villa is set in a small condominium directly next to the beach. It has a beautiful garden with a pool, sauna, barbecue area and separate children's pool. It is a lovely and safe environment for children. You get to the beach through the garden gate. The condominium has security 24/7. Praia do Flemengo is a middle class beach village which is about 45 minutes' drive from salvador city centre. There is a pretty village square with cafes, restaurant, shops, hairdresser's etc.

Praia do Flamengo is a huge surf beach, the best in Salvador and home to all the surfing competitions. We have an English speaking instructor available to teach guests. Equally it is a great place for experienced surfers. There are some excellent barracas (beach cafes) on the beach serving fresh seafood, drinks and snacks.

Inside, the villa has been completely refurbished with most of the furniture made by a local artisan furniture maker. It is light and spacious with all mod cons, including internet access for your laptop.

There are three air conditioned bedrooms upstairs: one double suite with veranda overlooking garden and ocean view; two single bedrooms (one with bunk beds), each with veranda and ocean view. The single rooms share a bathroom.

Downstairs there is a single suite; a good sized kitchen and dining area; cloakroom; living room with french doors leading onto terrace.
