Perfect Beach House

We rented this beach house for eight nights in February, 2012. What a find! The house is wonderful and the location is just perfect. It is right on the beach, with spectacular views. We took long walks on the sandy beach, with very few people around, just by stepping outside the door. The upstairs balcony is spacious and has a breathtaking view of the ocean. Downtown St. Augustine and all the local attractions are a very short drive away. The house itself is very well appointed, clean and well-maintained. It has an open floor plan which makes living there easy, especially when surrounded by such great views from the floor to ceiling windows. It is also quite large with two big living areas on separate floors. The furnishings are very comfortable, It feels like a home, not a rental. You can just drop your suitcases and feel like you live there. You will not want to leave. I highly recommend this property.

The Perfect Beach House

This year our group of friends celebrated our twentieth anniversary of annual getaways. We wanted the perfect place in which to celebrate and this beautiful house surpassed all of our expectations. It's beachfront location and sweeping ocean views are breathtaking. As for the house itself, the photos posted on this page are not an exaggeration. It is as good as it looks and more. Very comfortable, great floor-plan and perfectly appointed. We loved our stay and look forward to another visit.

Great house for a girls vacation

Went with some friends for a weeklong getaway and the house couldn't have been better! Walked to the beach almost every day, close drive to go into town for some great sushi as well! Great appliances in the kitchen, and tons of space to lounge around. Perfect house for a perfect vacation!

Our family rented this house for the week. We absolutely loved it! The homeowner is really nice even called while we were there to see if we needed anything and gave us some restaurants to check out. It has everything you need and it's right on the beach. I do photography on the side and was able to take some amazing family pictures in front of the dunes. Just an idea if you were thinking of taking family pictures at the beach. You will love this place!

Fantastic Easter Week on the Beach

We just spent Easter break with our two teenage sons, our 20 year old daughter and her friend at this great beach-side home. The home is very modern and comfortable with plenty of room for all. Great location on the beach and within walking distance to many good restaurants, mini-golf, and the pier. Very nice beach that offers something for everyone: long walks, runs, bike riding, boogy boarding, kite flying, surfing, or just sitting out and watching the views. We enjoyed our happy hours sitting on the balcony looking out at the ocean. Lots of great sightseeing and activities in St. Augustine. We enjoyed Ribfest and renting waverunners on the inter-coastal, where we could ride up next to dolphins. I highly recommend this rental for any family wanting a relaxing beach getaway.

Relaxing Beach Front Get Away

I recently stayed at this beach front house with a few friends for a relaxing get away. Not only did the house meet our accommodation expectations (as previewed on the website), it exceeded them. Coming from the city, it was so nice to be right on the beach front for our vacation. We spent our mornings reading on the terrace over looking the ocean, took long walks on the beach in the afternoons and enjoyed evening beverages listening to the ocean at night. We did our grocery shopping at a local store and cooked most meals at home, but we did get out for a few dinners. The downtown area of St. Augustine is a short drive from the house so we did spend a few nights walking around exploring the local shops and restaurants. Overall, I would say that this was one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a long time. We came back to Chicago completely revitalized and rejuvinated. I would absolutely recommend this as a great vacation get away spot to my closest friends and family.

What an awesome place to vacation -- The house provided everything we needed; the new flooring was gorgeous; the floor plan is perfect for two families. The view was beautiful with unimaginable sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed cooking at the house and enjoying watching them. However, we did eat out at Mango, Mango's and the Sunset Beach Grill and they both were very good. It was our grandchildren's first trip to the beach and are they spoiled now! The beach and ocean in their own backyard! We did manage to pull them away for a trip to the Alligator Farm, a scenic cruise, and Marineland (Sea World is much better), but actually everyone preferred enjoying the beach (the toys were in the garage). This vacation couldn't have been any better for the adults or the children -- Thank you Godins for your help in making this one of our best vacations ever.

This is the second year we've stayed at the best beach house in St. Augustine. The views from the living room with the huge glass windows and private deck are worth a thousand words. There is plenty of living space on the two levels to tan, take a break, watch a tv, read a book, play music, or surf the net on the wi-fi. The kitchen with granite countertops is fully equipped if you get tired of dining at one of the local restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. A short walk over the grass yard leads you to the beautiful sugar sand beach. Truly a beautiful vacation getaway so pack your bags.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for our anniversary, and there could not have been a more romantic place. The views of the ocean are absolutely breath-taking. We enjoyed the walks along the beach as well as the views from the deck. The quaint city of St. Augustine was just a delight and we enjoyed exploring the city. The owner Phil was very accomodating and wanted to ensure our stay was a memorable one. I would highly recommend this vacation house, and we intend to return in the future!

I spent a week at this beach house in March and I really enjoyed it. The layout with living areas on different levels was great. The property was clean and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped and was great when we cooked in it. But most of all the views are amazing! I would recommend this property to others for sure.

I spent a week at the beach house earlier this year and really enjoyed it. The view is clear and there's a lot of beach right at your disposal. I really liked that it was well equipped for me to cook and then relax on the deck. There were some shops nearby where we got groceries to cook in the kitchen which was better than eating out all week. Really enjoyable stay with no issues!

Relaxing Views and Sounds

This property is awesome! Clean, cozy, located in walking distance to a number of great restaurants and a quick drive (10 minutes max) to a variety of activities. With all that being said, the only thing you will want to do is sit and take in the view! I woke the day after arriving to the beautiful sound of the ocean! I simply rolled over & pulled back the curtain only to find that unbelievable view again! My husband & I counted our steps....22 steps from the property to the beach. This spectacular view can be seen from just about anywhere in this house. The week we were there it rained, it did not matter- we cozied up on the couch and enjoyed the view while sipping hot chocolate. All meals at this property are pleasureable because of the amazing view.

I have found the perfect beach house! Visiting with my family from the Milwaukee area, we had every intention of exploring the quaint city of St Augustine. But, we were so comfortable in this spacious house with it's fabulous views of the ocean that it was hard to leave. There is grocery nearby and we could walk to several restaurants - either along the beach or the road. A short drive to Cap's Restaurant is a must, tho, for the sunset over the intercoastal. But the walk along the beach early morning for sunrise is even more memorable! This place has it all! Beautiful kitchen, large rooms, big screen TV's upstairs and downstairs in the den. All very clean. I have stayed on the Gulf Coast in the past (Clearwater area) and this is definitely where I will come back to. It is much much quieter, and to be able to step out your back door hearing only the sound of the surf and be on the beach in seconds... I'll be back!

Our most recent October visit to this lovely house did not disappoint. This makes our third visit, two with friends, and one with our children and grandchildren. The house accommodates all, with great conveniences and lovely appointments. But I cannot say enough about the "drop dead gorgeous" views of the Atlantic. This alone would make this rental the best!

The view from this beautiful beach house is truly incredible! The house is designed so that one can see the ocean from most areas on the second floor. Our group spent lots of time on the upper deck watching the sea oats blow in the wind and the surf roll up on the beach. The house itself is bright, open and spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped and the new granite countertops are beautiful. The house is located on a quiet, private part of the beach but there are some great restaurants within walking distance. We styaed at this beautiful beach house in october of 2009, this was actually the most breath taking view of any beach house that we have ever stayed in. The place was quiet, it had everything you needed with a upstairs & downstairs, it was clean, and the owner was very personable, friendly and you could feel free to call him anytime if you needed anything unlike some of the other places we stayed in. (PLUS) there was one other thing that we enjoyed and that was going out every morning and evening and feeding & petting a domesticated pet rabbit that someone had let out that had made this his home, he was just precious. (this is the place to stay only 4 miles from the historic town of St. Augustine, we will be staying here again soon.

I am originally from the St. Augustine area and went home this summer to visit. I was lucky enough to get to stay in this wonderful house! The views are beyond compare. The house is equipped with everything you will need to have a great vacation. It was perfect to have two living areas for friends to stay so they could have their own private area if they wanted. All I can really say is that you will not be disappointed if you choose this house for your vacation!!!

I stayed here for a week in September with my family and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was clean, large enough for 6 of us, and had AMAZING ocean views and easy beach access. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking for a great beach house in a great city. We walked the beach every day and made the short drive to downtown a couple times throughout the week. We loved the house and loved St Augustine. Can't wait to return next fall!

I was there for 5 days in November with my 3 sisters, and our biggest dilemma was deciding if we wanted to relax on the beach or the balcony! Both are spectacular! It is on a beautiful stretch of beach which is literally just steps away and the house has all the amenities needed, plus a wall of windows to enjoy the awesone view. Everything was spotless and well maintained, and the owner easily accessible and personable. There are several restaurants in walking distance and many more just a short drive away. I can't wait to go back and would recommend this place to anyone.
