We spent a week in this cabin in July. It was an amazing experience. The photos do not do justice to this beautiful home. Exceptionally clean and well maintained property. I highly recommend it.

We just finished our second stay at this cabin and it was again simply fantastic. A great backyard, a perfect spot on the river, beautiful cabin which is much more inmpressive than in the pictures posted, and easy access to the horseshoe area and Canyon Lake make this the grown up way to do the Guadalupe River. Taking the river float down to the first public access at the horseshoe is a must. 2 hours when the river is flowing, 4 hours when only 50 CFS are being let out of Canyon Lake. Either way, you have the river just about to yourselves all the way to the start of the horseshoe. Another 2 hours through the horeshoe if you want to liven it up a bit. Whitewater amplitheater is about a mile from this house if you want to take in a show. I keep forgetting the fishing pole, but if the fish we saw jumping at dusk are any indication, this is also a great spot to throw in a line. Also a great area for rafting or kayaking. At the end of a cul-de-sac, so a very private and quite neighborhood. Scott is always available by phone and keeps this property beautiful. We will be back again next year and plan on extending our stay.

The cabin is very comfortable and nicely furnished. It has a nice, open feel. The kitchen is easy to get around in and well furnished. Because we were there in the winter, we did not go to the river, but it does have a nice ramp that goes right down to the water's edge. We enjoyed our week there and would definitely consider the Cozy Cabin again.

The Cozy Cabin was not just cozy, but authentic. It had a great feel as if you were actually in a log cabin. The property was clean and well-maintained. It was even nice to have towels provided for you! The short walk down to the river was nice too. Early in the mornings you can see all kinds of beautiful wild life. As for the roominess of the cabin, it was definitely plentiful. There are two bathrooms and the upstairs bathroom is a reallly good size with a nice shower/tub. If you want a pleasant, quite place to stay, then I recommend the Cozy Cabin.
Owner response:We work very hard to make each stay top notch. If you are thinking about staying with us and have special needs please let us know. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at this house. The location is great, there are neighbors on 1 side but the house is still somewhat secluded. One can walk directly down to the river and get in and float away....without all the noise and people tubing on the "horseshoe" this is the place to tube!! The house is really cute and very cozy and well maintained as is the yard. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing weekend and to really "get away" from it all this is the place to stay. Awesome!!
