Calypso Cottage, completed in December 2005, is a three bedroom, three and a half bath home on Great Guana Cay.
Located about a mile west of the Guana Cay Settlement and overlooking the Sea of Abaco and the Atlantic Ocean, Calypso enjoys great views and unobstructed breezes off the sea. The home comfortably sleeps up to six guests in 2 Kings and twin beds.
Calypso Cottage offers central air conditioning, ceiling fans throughout, satellite TV/DVD/CD and a fully equipped kitchen. The Cottage has WiFi Connectivity and a back-up generator for those few and unexpected occasions when power is out.
Calypso’s dock with a private slip is just steps away and the perfect place to secure your boat, take a swim, fish or watch the sun disappear into the crystal sea. Bring your fins and snorkel in the 80 degree water (70's in winter), teaming with bright and colorful tropical fish.
For a change of scenery, take a walk along the Atlantic where the turquoise ocean meets five miles of white, powdery sand beach. The water offers wonderful swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. Walk to the end of the island, yours may be the only foot prints you see. Along the way, be sure to stop at Nippers Beach Bar to rest your sandy feet and enjoy a "Frozen Nipper" while taking in the "best view in Abaco". |
