Enjoy a vacation on the beach along the "Father of Waters" situated on the northern end of Lake Pepin.

Lake Pepin is a 12+ mile long lake that has the Mississippi River running through it! It is famous as the "Birthplace of Water Skiing." The main channel passes within easy view enabling you to watch the passing of barges and other interesting types of boats, including the magnificent Mississippi Queen, if you are lucky!

Our home is one of only a few that has actual beach frontage right on the water without a road or train track in between! This is a modern home with three upstairs bedrooms. The ground level has a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and a sitting room. A full patio facing the river is just off the living room and kitchen! Plus, there is a private balcony overlooking the water off the large master bedroom.

In the winter, you can enjoy downhill skiing at nearby Mt. Frontenac and Welch Village. In the summer, there are boat rentals available in both Red Wing and Lake City. There is hiking at nearby Frontenac State Park. You can also enjoy bike paths along the river in both Red Wing and Lake City.

And last but not least, there are hundreds (yes, hundreds) of Bald Eagles within just a few miles. You can see them feeding out on the lake and watch them through the spotting scope from the balcony!
