  This is a comfortable and well appointed home with more than enough room for 7 adults and two dogs. One evening we had two couples over for dinner and a sing along around the piano, what fun! The hot tub sure felt good after a day on the slopes. Thanks to the owners for keeping the place so well stocked. We will certainly look forward to staying here again and will recommend it to our friends.

  My husband and I stayed at the home for a week with our two dogs. The house was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. We all had a great time. There is room to play in the snow or just stay inside and relax. We'd definitely recommend this house and hope to visit again next year.

  This review is long overdue. My family of 4 stayed at this wonderful mountain home in April and had a wonderful time. If you are looking for a relaxing, clean and wonderfully appointed home in the Tahoe Donner area, this is it! The house was spotless and inviting. We enjoyed cooking meals, playing the piano, and frolicking in the snow in the beautiful backyard. I liked being able to stay inside the family room and watch the kids play endlessly in the snow. I want to return this year with more of my family because there is so much room in this house. We also enjoyed the books, games and toasty warm beds. Both of my children learned to ski on this trip at Tahoe Donner. It was great to be able to return to the house for a mid-day break and return later in the day to the slopes. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  We just left. So perfect no one wanted to leave. One of our best VRBO choices ever!!! Well located and with LOTS of amenities. Perfect for gathering our 4 great nieces from around the country together to have a kids summer vacation with their California gr aunts & uncles. A large variety of games/toys and disney type movies provided many options for fun and relaxation. The 4 bunks in one bedroom gave the kids the perfect "slumber party" for the entire week. The other bedrooms were roomy with comfortable beds. Kitchen had ample cooking/baking equipment & utensils aplenty. Piano was a BIG plus as well as the spa. Kids got to be at the beach club or pool each day and adults got to "spa" each night. Terrific. Tahoe Donner guest accommodations are perfect for any vacation with kids. Lots of options, from kayaking & swimming at the lake to the club swimming pools w/ bocce ball, volleyball or tennis. The girls loved the horseback riding. Too much for just one week, obviously we are coming back again and again. This is just one fantastic rental!

  This is an extremely comfortable family place. We were snuggled up watching the Tour de France in the mornings. Our children loved the outdoor space and our Yorkie could not get enough of the squirrels. There are plenty of places to eat in Tahoe, but fire the grill up at least one evening and make sure you have marshmellows, chocolate and graham crackers. The hot tub begs you to sit in for a while on those cool evenings. The children loved playing the piano and the parents loved that they practiced on vacation! The owners are very respectful and really want everyone to enjoy their home. It is in very good condition, so people are showing that respect in return.

  this is our 12th season renting the cabin and it feels like the second home there, - everything is comfortable, well kept, great neibourghood and location, perfect for the skiing or hiking weekend year around

  We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, comfortable, and well maintained vacation home. We especially loved the hot tub, and the location - we brought our black lab and together with the kids we explored the golf course behind the houses across the street - there was some snow and it was a great place to hike around and for the kids to play. I highly recommend this house for families or a group of friends!

  The place is So GoooooD!!!!!, that we actually came back in two weeks after our first visit. It was a last minute decision for us to spend long weekend in Tahoe (September 2011 Labor Day). . I looked thought VRBO adds and had sent a couple of the emails to some of owners. Luckily for us the owners of this house had responded to my email. They were very friendly, clear about the house booking and they gave us a really good deal. When we got to the house: everything looked exactly how it was described in VRBO add. House is very clean and well-maintained. Anything that you can think of that you might need in the house – is there. House: Extra pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, toys for kids, computer, ……. Kitchen: A lot of different kind of pans, utensils, herbs, dressings, …… Deck: charcoals, matches, liquid that helps you to start the fire faster, ….. We even had found 2 kids (we have 2 kids: 2 and 4 years old) fishing rods, which we had used to fish at Lake Tahoe. The 2 best things for us were: Jacuzzi and the cozy fire place in the house. When we came to the house second time it felt like we came home! We definitely would like to come back here again!

  Two families stayed in this lovely home in August 2011. The kids had a great time exploring through the games and toys. Our son played piano and there was plenty of room in the kitchen to make "fruit kabobs" for the outdoor wedding down the street at our folks home. Everything was just as described and we will return in the winter to test the hot tub!
