Welcome to our stunning Casita in "The Sanctuary", a tranquil, secure haven, set in a beautiful plant-filled residence, accessed by electronic gated entry. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, in a safe, family neighborhood of the historical central district of San Miguel, one block from the Farmers & Artisans Market, we are a flat, easy 10minute walk to the central plaza known as the "Jardin".
Our exquisite Casita will truly delight you. Located on the ground floor gives easy access. Open our private gate, and the dream begins...a bubbling fountain welcomes you to your spacious private courtyard, filled with plants, sculpture and decorative pieces. A large table circled by chairs, is the perfect place to unwind or entertain. Shaded by spreading trees, this is a beautifully cool place, in the summer heat.
Your Casita is arranged in an L-shape around your patio, & inside you will find everything to surpass your expectations. Beautifully appointed, with antique furnishings, fine linens, custom hand-painted & carved cabinetry & doors; and decorated in exquisite style, complemented by original art, this Casita is truly a jewel. Architecturally, a treat, with its soaring brick arches & high beamed ceilings.
The extremely spacious, high ceilinged living area has a very comfortable seating/TV area; formal dining area for 6; & a fully equipped kitchen with attractive dishes, glasses, utensils, and all that you will need to happily cook and entertain in style. A gas fireplace and twin french doors, make this a really lovely area. A staircase leads up to a small sleeping loft with a double bed. This loft sleeping area is suitable for up to 2 children aged 16 or under or for 1 adult. A full bathroom, with tub, beautifully tiled in Mexican style, adjoins the living area.
Step down, through tall french doors from the living area, & your gorgeous bedroom awaits. A long, gracious room with king-sized bed, antique armoires, gas fire, & huge brick-arched french doors, how can you not have beautiful dreams? A private bathroom is adjoining, fully tiled, with a walk-in shower.
