This villa provided a perfect getaway for my husband and I. It had a clean, contemporary update and looked exactly as pictured. It was clean, warm and inviting, and was exceptionately appointed. Jeanette and Shawn thought of everything- a picnic cooler, bicycle pump, silicon spray for the bikes, a beach tote, a great game selection, and the ultimate welcoming touch: iced beer mugs in the freezer!! The notes and recommendations in the activities book were right on and helped us make the perfect selections of where to play and eat. We felt like we were staying with friends!! I cannot say enough about the personal touches and the care with which the Lawsons approach their property- it made for an outstanding experience. We have stayed in many Kiawah properties over the years and have never had such a positive experience in terms of ambience of the villa and attention to details by our hosts. The thoroughness demonstrated by the owners was unmatched! Would I recommend this property or stay at another Kiawah Island Getaways property? Absolutely and without hesitation!! Thank you for making our return to paradise such a delight!

The condo at Mariner's Watch was just what I needed. The property was very clean and welcoming upon my arrival. The Lawson's of Kiawah Island Getaways were so accommodating and easy to work with I felt like I knew them personally. The proximity to Charleston without the headache of the traffic is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you to Kiawah Island Getaways for making my time spent on Kiawah like "coming home" only better.

This has set the benchmark for our family vacations! This was an excellent location to and from the beach for those with (and without) small children. Close to the park and playground. Short ride to the Market. Villa was clean and well maintained. WiFi was an unexpected plus!! In Villa info packet was very informative and helpful in selecting area eats and things to do!!! Definitely would recommend!

Great place to stay on Kiawah! Nicely decorated, super clean and comfortable. Very close to the beach. Everything you would need was already there. Felt like we were staying at our own vacation home. The Lawson's are so efficient and helpful. They go out of their way to make you have a nice trip. Can't wait to return.

This was our first visit to Kiawah Island and we just loved it! It was the perfect place to take two energetic little boys. The villa was lovely, clean, and very well-equipped. We can't wait to return!

My husband and I have been visiting Kiawah since our four children were young. We have come with all of our adult children and grandchildren a couple of times but this was our first visit by ourselves! The Mariner was perfect. Just a hop and a skip to the beach and the villa provides you with all the amenities. Love the keyless entry! We had a great time. Thanks.

Kiawah island is amazing and the villa was perfect. I am still recovering from my sunburn I received while spending endless relaxing hours reading on the beach. I want to retire to kiawah...it is perfect!

The Mariner is the perfect place for a dreamy getaway. It feels like a little cottage, secluded from your hectic daily life, but you walk out of your door and there is so much to do. We did not want for anything. This is our second time to the villa and we returned partly because of the comfort and beauty of the accomodations. We will probably return next year too:)

"The Mariner" is the perfect Kiawah Island location for an empty-nester couple who need to unwind from stressful jobs and overly hectic lifestyles...the beach access is only steps away, the porch overlooks a beautiful wooded area, Eugenia is readily available for walks and bike riding, and Towncenter and the Sanctuary are less than 1/2 mile away. The villa is very tastefully decorated, has all the necessary conveniences including wireless high-speed internet, new full-size washer and dryer, TV's in living room and bedroom, ipod dock and just about any cooking paraphenalia imaginable. The availability of the bike/beach chair rental combo is also an appreciated touch. Mrs. Lawson has thought of everything! The Mariner is one of the cleanest, most convenient and most well-equipped villas we have ever had the pleasure of staying in on Kiawah Island. Keep up the good work!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mariner's Watch! It was so clean, cozy, and well equipt that we felt we were home - but on vacation :O) We were also very happy we took the reccommendation to rent beach chairs and bikes along with our villa - it certianly added to the ease and enjoyment of exploring and relaxing on Kaiwah!
