  All the positive reviews are accurate, Boyd's apartment met our high expectations. It was great to have so much space after being crammed into small hotels rooms earlier in our European tour. Especially the king-size bed in the master bedroom! Boyd is very informative and responsive, while taking extra care to make sure everything was satisfactory. The neighborhood feels safe and Metro and bus service are very close at hand - only a 10-15 minute Metro ride to all the main Paris attractions. I highly recommend.

  Our second stay in this perfect Paris vacation rental...and it felt like we were coming home! Everything about this beautiful apartment is commendable - the location cannot be beat, so easy to access the nearby Metro and travel anywhere in Paris in minutes, a wonderful neighborhood with excellent restaurants, food shops,etc AND a fantastic grocery store in the base of the building! We LOVE visiting Paris and knowing this will be our perfect getawayfrom all the hustle and bustle.AND you really can watch the Eiffel Tower light show from the kitchen! C'est manifique! Already planning our next stay!

  The accommodations at our Paris apartment were all they pro ported to be on VRBO. Our apt was very clean, comfortable, and fully outfitted with everything we needed (including a washer and dryer) while living in Paris. It's in a wonderful neighborhood away from touristy areas which gave us a truly Parisian living experience. The neighborhood patisseries and restaurants were plentiful, excellent and more reasonably priced than those in the central tourist areas. The conveniences of the nearby Metro and the fabulous grocery/market on the ground floor of our apt made living easy. The owner, Boyd, is easy and lovely to work with.

  Just a lovely place. - the excellent Reviews say it better than I can, have great details, and after a month's stay, we know they are accurate. My family of young (7) and old (me) have stayed in many places in Paris and just love the convenience of a grocery you can go to in any weather, just on the first floor! (think late run for milk and cereal). Also the metro and bus stops are extremely close, so forget a taxi for getting around. This is a neighborhood with all the goodies that Paris neighborhoods have, i.e. weekly outside market, butcher, bakery. Safe, so not to worry walking in the evening. The owners are thoughtful and available, no absentee landlords. Thank you Boyd for a wonderful stay for one whole month that just flew by!

  Paris is so much more than monuments and towers, galleries and shops, the hip, the trendy and the chic. If you're fortunate enough to settle in a comfy apartment in a characterful neighborhood, having the time to discover Paris at your own pace, the contradictions of the city will intrigue you: what is it––stand-offish or welcoming? frantic or serene? village or metropolis? In a hotel room you're a tourist, but in a homey apartment like Boyd and Frankie's you're a local. You'll be greeted as a regular at the brasserie down the street, the butcher at the corner shop will soon recognize you, and your thoughtful hosts will be attentive and considerate of your needs throughout your stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  To those of you planning to come to Paris for at least a week, this is the place to be. The apartment is so spacious and we felt very comfortable. It felt like home, coming back in the evening and easy to linger in the morning. Everything was thought of for our comfort. We initially had a small problem with the wireless internet, but between Boyd and his son, the problem was solved in 15 minutes. We enjoyed staying in the 15th because it was not in the tourist area, but yet with the Metro one block away, we were anywhere in Paris in 10-20 minutes. Between me and my wife, we spoke about 20 words of French, but most everyone in the neighborhood were very nice and helpful. The supermarket on the ground floor was convenient and the farmers market a couple days a week that was just outside the building was a bonus. Would we stay here again? ABSOLUTELY

  Thank you to Boyd and Frankie on a wonderful apartment for our stay in Paris. My husband and children 10 and 13 loved everything about this place. Its proximity to public transport is fantastic. The feeling of being in a neighbourhood is great. The cleanliness and attention to detail is all that you could hope for. You will not be disappointed. Boyd was so accomodating and went out of his way to give us a late checkout to fit in with our very late flight home. Two bathrooms is great for families or two couples and my husband was very appreciative of the lift (no more carrying luggage up stairs!). The supermarket at the bottom of the building is also a big help. I can't say enough. Loved the views of the eiffel tower - closer than I expected. We would happily recommend this apartment to all. Thank you.

  This apartment is exactly as advertised (marvelous!), but that's not all there is to this wonderful experience. We had regular communication with the owner, who lives outside Paris, He was super helpful. He arranged for the property manager to meet us when we arrived and give us a basic orientation. The whole apartment is spotless and attractive, with plenty of room to move around and to spread out. The owner was "on call" whenever we needed his help. He also arranged his special cab driver to take us to the airport when we had to leave. Everything ran very smoothly and easily. I'm sure he would be happy to arrange for that cab driver to pick you up from the airport as well. The neighborhood is quiet, and it was quite a treat to be able to see the Eiffel Tower from the kitchen and master bedroom windows. It's just a short walk to either of the two nearby Metro stations. We were just a couple, but the apartment could easily accommodate four people. It would be especially good for people traveling with children. There's a little playground for small children on the ground floor patio, adjacent to the day care center. By the way, the king bed really is a king. We slept well every night. The kitchen setup was convenient and easy to use. We had all our breakfasts and dinners at home (It felt like home!). It was so handy to have a full supermarket just down below the patio level. Security is great. We felt safe and at home by our first morning in the apartment. By the end of the week, we were sorry to leave. It's certainly the kind of place we'd feel comfortable coming back to if we ever get another chance to visit Paris.

  Our stay in Paris was fabulous. The apartment was everything it said to be and we loved the neighborhood. It was a great location to the metro although you come up across the street where you go down, so we did get turned around alot. It just made for better findings. I was sorry we didn't get to meet Boyd. His son was there to greet us. I loved being able to call our children back in the states. My only advice would be to know the price of the taxi when you reserve it. We were in for quite a surprise, but at the time we were short on time so just accepted it.

  Owner response: Would like to take a minute to address Susan's comments on the taxi ride she spoke about. When you call for a taxi to come to the apartment the cost will be higher than going around the corner to the taxi rank.That, and morning rush hour can drive the cost up. This has nothing to do with Jackey who is our go to guy for CDG airport runs. As you can see in the reviews he is a real winner.

  Four adults(my wife and I and another couple) recently stayed in this apartment. This apartment is truly exceptional. It is very clean, modern, and welcoming. In addition to being furnished with great housewares and furniture, the aapartment has views from the kitchen and bedrooms that include the Tour Eiffel, the Invalides Dome, and Sacre Coeur. The building is easily accessed and is secure. The elevators are large enough to accomodate adults with baggage. There is a large grocery store in the building which was very convenient. The neighborhood is largely residential with adequate shopping and commercial enterprises nearby. I dealt with the owner on several occaisions(questions-not problems) and he was always prompt in responding and accomodating in reply. We ate most meals in the apartment. The kitchen and dining room are well appointed and easily accomodated the four of us. Sleeping accommodations were excellent as were the two bathrooms. There are exterior metal window shades on the bedroom windows that are electrically operated which block out all light and noise. The beds were very comfortable. The Lourmel Metro station is one block away. We used the driver recommended by the apartment owner for our travel to CDG. The driver was on-time, polite, personable and spoke French and English. His driving was controled and safe. I recommend him very highly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment and would not hesitate to stay here again.
