Location: Peaceful Valley, Front Range, Colorado, USA (Near Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park)

Accommodations:  Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Loft, 1 Bath (Sleeps 6)

Nineteen-fifties (1950s) cabin nestled at end of road right on the Middle Saint Vrain River. Fall asleep at night to the sound of the river. Wake up, grab a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise from "the rock" (a huge rock in the middle of the river with a bridge leading up to it). You'll be far enough from the city to forget its there yet close enough (38 miles to Boulder) to drive in for dinner if you wish.

Great hiking and biking trails nearby. Rocky Mountain National Park is just 15 miles away. Visit Estes Park just 29 miles away without staying there with all of the other tourists.

Our cabin is a wonderful getaway for anyone who enjoys being outdoors. We've compiled a list of hiking, biking, and snowshoe/x-country ski (in season) to help you make the most of your stay. We'd love to help you have an amazing Colorado vacation.

  • My family used to stay in this cabin when I was a little girl when it was owned by Ray & Ella Oakleaf. My husband and I moved to Colorado and lived in Longmont and Lyons. While living in Lyons, we took care of the cabin for Ray and Ella. We miss it very much. I hope you will enjoy it as much as the Oakleaf's and my family did.

The river is gorgeous, The Rock is amazing, and the trails that we biked, hiked, and snowshoed together around your place I'll never, ever forget forget. I'd love to keep coming back again and again!

    We loved the cabin! The location was perfect, and I have never seen such a beautiful river - we spent many hours on the rock and really feel relaxed. (Except for that 15 hr. drive home from Colo Spgs!) I will recommend it to anyone going out Colorado way! Jen
