- This condominium is very spacious, with over 2000 square feet of living space. It is a two-level end-unit condominium (none of the buildings are over 2 stories), with privacy landscaping. Luxury outdoor lounges w/pads provided. Additional outdoor camp chairs also available in storage area.

- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): The first level is handicapped accessible, with an open plan and wide hallways and doorways. The first level includes the kitchen, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom, one full bathroom, and two lanais. However, there is a step down into the living room. There are stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms and full bath.
- Kid Friendly: Pool for guests only. Minutes away from beaches, surfing, activities. Games and cards available in the condominium. for varying ages. It is NOT child-proofed with safety latches, outlet covers, etc. But, there are not many breakables within small child reach. No bluffs within about 600 feet: pool is locked and accessible only to children with adult supervision. Games and videos available in condo. Boogey boards, beach mats, camp chairs in storage closet. My 3 1/2 year old granddaughter adores it!
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Primary renter must be 25 years old.
- Smoking Not Allowed: Outdoor smoking permitted, away from condo doorways (owner allergic); please dispose of cigar and cigarette butts properly.

Why the Owner Chose Kamahana
The North shore of Kauai is fantastic - the most beautiful rainforests, rainbows, beaches, and great wild surf (in winter) is found there. It is the most beautiful place on earth, I believe!

Watch whales and dolphins from the bluff, not 100 yards from my condo, and to see a panoramic view of the ocean from East to West! Great activities, food, shopping, hiking, biking near by. Private pool for condo complex residents and guests only.
Fabulous beach; the road west ends here; I've called it the 'end of the world'; it's one of the most westerly points before the international dateline.
A path from the hotel grounds at the end of this road leads to Anini Beach.
Just across from bluffs where 6 days, 7 nights was filmed with Harrison Ford and Ann Heche.

I first visited Hawaii in 2002 with my husband for our delayed 20th anniversary celebration - we both loved Kauai best of all!!!! We thought about moving here permanently - such a wonderful change from Michigan winters!!! Unfortunately, he died suddenly in 2004. In 2005, I purchased our dream condo, planning to spend about half the year in Kauai. But then, life intervened again - my dear stepmother was diagnosed with cancer, and my daughter gave birth to a child for whom she ultimately could not provide proper care. So... I am now guardian for my granddaughter (who loves Kauai!)... and major support for my 85 yr old father. Going blind in one eye didn't help. My granddaughter and I are able to visit this wonderful condo, and many of my family memebers and friends have enjoyed it as well. I began sharing the condo as a rental the times I can't be there to others who inevitably have found Kauai as enchanting as I have!

Irene, We found the one-eyed rooster, and named him Roberto. We fed him and he came back every morning at 5:00 a.m. clucking and making noise so today I chased him around. It was fun! My room was the one with the balcony. I'm the youngest but I got that room all to myself- I was surprised! The pool was cool, too. We spent a lot of time there. Mahalo for letting us stay here. PS. I'm eleven. [OWNER'S NOTE - PLEASE DON'T FEED THE CHICKENS! :-) )
