Dockside Dreaming! Best Sunset on the Beach
Year Purchased: 2009
Why the Owner Chose Holden Beach
My wife's family has always come to Holden Beach, and we were really excited about the prospect of owning our own home on a canal and very close to the ocean!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
An ideal day includes having coffee on the back porch while enjoying breakfast from the pier. After that, a day at the beach and a good lunch. Then a nap on the hammock and a cookout in the backyard make for an enjoyable closing to an enjoyable day!! Have Fun!
Owner's Map of Holden Beach
My wife Kathryn is originally from Smithfield, NC, and I am from Wilson, NC. We really enjoy spending time at the Beach and with family. We have a four-year old son, Spence and our one year old son, Austin. Don't let me forget our Boston Terrier, Holden (named for the beach, of course). I am employed in the Workers Compensations arena and my wife is a Mortgage Loan Officer.

Wonderful Place for a vacation!

My husband and I stayed 5/19-5/23.2010. It was everything and more for what we hoped. Everything was perfect. At night we sat on the back deck in those great rocking chairs and listening to the fish jumping in the canal. Or we just sat quietly and listened to the ocean. The beach house offered us everything we needed. Just a walk across the street and we were at the pier and the beach. We had dinner the first night at the Provision Co. located just over the bridge. It was great. The second night we grilled out at the beach house after a full day on the beach. While my husband played golf (which there are some great golf courses close by according to my husband) I got to enjoy the beach and shopping at the nearby quaint stores. We would recommend this beach house heaven to all. We are most definitely going back. Thank you so much Bryan and Kathryn for sharing your beach home and making my husband's birthday so special.
