  My two teenage boys and I loved, loved, loved this condo! We were in Maui with 3 different families, all with condos at Papkea, and this one was by far the nicest. It has everything you could want! The owners are great to work with and very prompt with emails, information and damage deposit refund. They supply a boatload of beach toys, chairs, an umbrella, putters, and a cooler or two. The updated kitchen and baths are lovely and the kitchen is stocked with lots of dishes, pans, and appliances. I never heard car noise even though the parking lot is located right behind it. The condo was very clean. It is a loft style, but the staircase is enclosed (a lot of them aren't) and all the railings are secure and safe for kids. I also loved that it has a keypad entry, so I never had to worry that each of us had a keycard when we left. So easy! The pool and grounds were very well maintained. I recommend this unit highly!   My husband, parents and I stayed in this beautful newly remodeled condo supplied with everything we needed and more. The view from the lanai was amazing. We were there during whale season and were able to see numerous whale sightings and even a sea turtle or two. The beds are very comfortable and each room has its own air conditioning system and fans which made everyone happy. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed plus some. They also provide beach chairs, towels and toys. The condo is located close to the parking lot and elevator so my 82 year old father had no problems getting to and from. The grounds are well maintained and quiet. We enjoyed grilling out by the pool several nights and met a lot of very nice people there. The owners supplied island activity information as well as great instructions for every appliance in the condo. They were quick to respond to questions and great to work with. We will definitley be returning to this condo on our next trip.

  My husband, mother, sister-in-law and I spent 8 nights in this wonderful condo. It was immaculate and well stocked with kitchen and beach essentials. The beds are comfy and all the furnishings were in great condition. Loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. The owners were most helpful with information and responding to inquiries. Our damage deposit was promptly returned. The Papakea grounds were beautiful and the pools and spas are well maintained. Close to shopping and restaurants. The lapping of the ocean waves and sunsets from the lanai are spectacular. I would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

  We have stayed annually at Papakea for the last ten years in various buildings and units; we've had a return favorite in "F" which was only available for two weeks this year...we were concerned that we had been very spoiled with a new remodel and excellent kitchen equipment but our move to L-404 proved to be a delight! It was as described by the owner and more; very tastefully decorated and modernized. The owners have taken great care to provide operation manuals for all equipment and to provide wide range of beach equipment for those without. We were so pleased that we'll return next year for three weeks in this unit. Can walk to grocery, farmer's market, video store, ABC, several restaurants. Grounds are impeccable and staff very friendly and helpful. Although without children on this trip, highly recommend this complex for families with children. Thanks for prompt responses to queries as well! It was a pleasure to be in this unit.

  Perfect condo for any family or small group traveling to Maui! The unit is exactly as pictured and even more beautiful in person. It was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything we needed for our week stay (minus personal toiletries as expected). Beds and furniture were very comfortable. (Thanks for the extra pillows!) There are a lot of extras in the condo - boogie boards, snorkel gear (although we rented our own), beach chairs, an umbrella, ice chests, a few toys, toddler life jackets, etc. Views from the lanai were breathtaking! We were there during whale season and saw several whales each day. I recommend taking binoculars for an even closer look. The condo grounds are beautiful, quiet and offered several activities - pool, hot tub, putting green, tennis courts and lovely paths to walk along. Lou and Patty were so easy to communicate with. They answered each question, sent us all appropriate information about the condo and complex and made the entire process (and therefore vacation) enjoyable. We are looking forward to another stay here in the future. I am pleased to be able to highly recommend this condo!

  This was our family's first visit to the Islands and staying at Papakea Resort did nothing but enhance our enjoyment. This property was everything advertised and more. Close to just about everything, beautiful view of the daily sunsets and glorious rainbows. Great amenities and plenty of BBQs (which we used nearly every day of our stay). The condo itself was a gem. Beautifully furnished, well stocked with utensils, toys, chairs you name it. (Didn't even have to pay to rent a putter for our "tournaments"). I can't say enough about the property owners' fabulous communications throughout our planning and travelling process, providing instructions for property access and owner's manuals for anything in the unit and even providing tour brochures. I commented to my wife that I bet they'd be fun to hang out with. Future visits to Hawaii (yes, there will be more), may be tough to match the enjoyment we had this year.

  We stayed at this Condo in 2008 for our 60th Anniversary. It is as great now as it was then. This time we went to the Warren & Annabelle Magic show which was the best. Warren was there and I do not believe I have ever had such a great time. He was great as was the whole experience. Went to the Ulalena show which was fantastic. Took the ferry to Molokai and tour of the island one day.Did the 4th of July Coctail cruise to see the fireworks at Lahaina. We had a great time while here. Used the barbques several times. The Condo is perfect and has all of the neccesities.The tide was very low most every morning with the burm exposed and everyone was walking along it viewing the fish and tide pool, etc.

  What a wonderful time we had in Maui this past week. The condo is everything you advertise and more. You only need to supply the food and you are set to go because the kitchen is fully furnished with all you need. The bedrooms are comfortable and you get a good nights sleep so you are ready to go in the morning. The condo is clean, comfortable, and homie. Landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. If I every go back to Maui if would hope this condo is available.

  Excellent condominium with all the touches of home. Loved having supplies on hand when we first arrived. The location is wonderful. Can't say enough good things about this condo. We stayed for ten days and loved every minute of ot.

  We can only repeat all the marvelous attributes about the the owner's vacation home, the Papakea property and about Magnificent Maui. We couldn't wait to enjoy the view every morning from the lanai and went to bed every night toasting the same. We strongly recommend this unit for the breathtaking view, excellent condition and overall convenience (groceries, sightseeing, etc.)
