Our Unit #1-204 at the Kamaole Sands resort is on the INNER COURTYARD with beautiful views; Building #1 unit #204. From our lanai enjoy a super view of Mount Haleakala, plus partial ocean view and the Island of Kahoolawe, all while overlooking lush tropical gardens with fish ponds, fountains, flowers and lots of foliage.

Our condo, "Behr’s Retreat", is a 1 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with newly upgraded kitchen, complete new shower in the hall bathroom, new tiled vanity tops sinks and faucets, new carpeting, drapes, lamps, bedding, towels, dishes, flatware, plus much more. Fully furnished, a queen size bed and a sofa bed with new mattress, plus a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare most any meal and we provide all your linens and towels.

Gorgeous Kamaole Sands resort in South Kihei next to Wailea was voted number one again in 2004. Fifteen acres of lush tropical grounds with fishponds, fountains, waterfalls, and abundance of tropical plants and flowers.

The amenities include a large pool, a large flagstone sun deck, two Jacuzzis, a children’s wading pool, four tennis courts, and eight barbeque areas. Two activity centers, and every Wednesday a Mai Tai party at poolside. Also a 24-hour front desk, complimentary coffee 7am - 9am at the reception area. Also available; a wake-up service, babysitting, and dry cleaning.

Easy short walk to fine restaurants, delis, shopping, and four of the best beaches on Maui. Short drive to most of Maui’s top ten activity attractions and World Class Golf Courses.

Cancellation Policy:
$100 cancellation fee if cancelled outside of 45 days prior to arrival for low season, 60 days for high season. All Payments non-refundable if cancelled within 45 days of scheduled arrival – 60 days for high season. Cancellation on or after arrival date, all funds forfeited. If space can be rerented, a pro-rata refund may be issued.

Behr's Retreat" Condo: 1-204 This is a great one bedroom unit near the front of the resort. It can sleep 2-4 people. It really felt like home away from home. It's clean, recently redecorated. It has one bedroom and a sleep sofa in the living room. It has two full baths, one is just a shower. It was stocked with towels, kitchen items (not food), filtered water, beach chairs, noodles, boogie boards. It has high speed internet, two tvs, a reserved parking space, and a living room a/c unit. We choose Kamaole Sands first for its south Kihei location and secondly the condo unit and it's great reviews. It's across the street from Kamaole Beach III and within walking distance of some great restaurants and shops. The property is beautiful and very well kept. The staff was mostly friendly, we came across some grumpy ones. It has a nice size pool and two Jacuzzis if they are both working. We wished that there was a bar at the pool. But you can take in drinks, just no glass. There are also multiple bbq grills and picnic tables on the grounds. They do strictly enforce quiet hours from 10pm-8am. They do patrol and will ask you to keep it down if needed. We learned from some other unit owners that August and Sept are construction/repair months because volume is down. So they were repaving the parking lot and repairing one the adult jacuzzi leaving us with the not even hot kids jacuzzi. This was more annoying than the parking repaving which didn't really affect us much. Overall this is a great place to stay for families and couples. It's not for luxury, but it's a good quality for the price. Just remember to check reviews on the specific unit you rent because some are in better condition than others.
