The original artwork has an eastern flair but keeps the rustic charm of the original beamed house built in 1924.
The house is located on the foot of Ohayo mountain minutes from Woodstock village and just minutes from a great water hole and beautiful lake.20 minutes from Belllaire and Hunter Mountain for skiing. An amazing original large stone fireplace boasts a quarry stone mantle. The glass enclosed porch was recently featured in the Escape Section of "The New York Times". It is filled with light and the views of the pine woods are breathtaking!
There is an eat-in butcher block kitchen with exposed brick wall and three lovely bedrooms with brand new Queen sized beds.Lakes and rivers near by are perfect for swimming and fishing. There is a fully stocked playhouse on the property for children.
Total privacy yet just six minutes from the town of Woodstock (Film Festival, music, art)where you can stroll the art galleries or hear great live music. Film festival in the summer. Close to great skiing in winter.
